If you bought a nucleus with capped brood you should be able to interspace the brood combs with empty deeps (not foundation). This will help your queen double her capacity for laying. If you got a swarm, same principle applies, but wait for about 4-5 weeks for the 5 or so combs to be filled with brood/pollen/honey in the characteristic arc, then intersperse. Also, if you feed too much they fill too much comb with honey, which restricts the laying space. In good weather/nectar, don't feed!
