i have stock k9 750, first run on any dyno gave 122hp, the guy stopped revving before redline. had it done a couple of days ago 3 runs on another dyno this time the guy backed off as soon as he hit the redline: 124, 125, 128hp. i'm happy with that, not bad for a stock 750 streetbike. all recent gixxers should do over 200kph in third gear = fun
My stock '06 750 was dead on what Sport Rider said it was. 126bhp. Repeated it at another location, different dyno. 125.5. Even with a full exhaust, race filter, etc, I doubt it would be over 133. 2008 750 stock is around 123bhp. Easily looked up at Sport Rider.
@KantosK1 sport rider is matter to says, cause u got bad tunes then, my friend have k7 gsxr 750 same i got k7 gsxr750, mine stock, never try dyno, his bike with taylormade exhaust, pc3, ignition module, bmc filter, velocity stacks, he got 148 rwhp NO LIES, then we races 70 to 150, he RUN AWAY FROM ME. so i gonna mods same as his, plus gonna get head work and porting stage 4 it would kiss over 156 rwhp anyday, owner porting said stage 8 is overkill for 750s, so stage 5 did 167 rwhp!
i have a '00 929rr and it dynoed at 132 with a two brothers slip on and airbox flapper mod. That is a little higher than most. Almost every dyno i have seen on a stock 929 has been 123-127 but i don't know what kind of dyno, as some of you said, the dynojets read high. taking out the hvac valve in the exhaust is supposed to be good for 5whp. But anywayz, the 750s MIGHT be 5lbs lighter than the 929. 929 dry weight is 374, pretty light. And no the new 600's will not beat a 929 except in the twists
@buddahkissprime 600 can face 929 very easy on the straight any day. 929 never hit 167 mph on stock 929 omg, my cousin have cbr954rr, my k7 gsxr 750 stock i smoke his ass EVERYTIME, and never catch me at straight or even in twists bro!
and i have a 08 gsxr... stock they are suppose to put out 133bhp.... mine is pretty much stock other than a slip on exhaust.. which ill be changing over soon to a full yoshi system... but when i get the results back next friday ill post them... with the pre tune and post tune results... but i know the new 750s are meant to have more horses than a 02 r1

Nice numbers you got! All in all, dyno's are only tuning tools in the end. Numbers can be botched and different days, different humidity, different elevation, etc... can affect it :)
it also depends on the tuner and the efi module. example where i got my bike form suzuki dealer they use dynometrics and where i get it tuned is a dynojet authorized tuner... so... it also depends on the tuner... and in a dyno depending on the facility. some have controlled booths. so they are able to mimic the perfect conditions.
Magazines and dynojet dyno's give you about 15% more horsepower than you actually have....you need a factory pro dyno to get TRUE hp readings. My 08 750, with a tune, puts out 111hp at the rear wheel, true hp
I know speedometers are way off at high speeds, something like 5-15%. Are you sure you're not confusing that with dyno readings? If Sport Rider and other magazines, some reputable bike web sites, all concur with the 125hp figure and just by coincidence it shows that at a regular dyno, I'll stick with that. It's strange that Sport Rider and others don't use a factory pro dyno.
Speedo are out from factory about 8%, thats true, but magazines use dynojet dyno's as well as the manufacturers because it gives a higher reading. Ask any racer, and I don't mean weekend warrior, and they will tell you that those readings are inflated, no question. A racer will get the true hp readings because they have to meet very stringent hp restrictions depending on the class.
there's a lever on the left side of most dyno's that slow the bike down....you move up and down when you stomp on something typically. Have you not seen a dyno run in person?
Why is this idiot bouncing up and down on the bike.. And bouncing off the rev limiter every roll on.. Dude obviously doesn't know how to do a dyno run
