She ripped off myself and several others . We paid for her GODDESS WORKOUT certification back in mAy she wrote us once. And she also left her Greece retreat early with CC problems and acted wierd. Those women also were ripped off of classes, certifications and other ementities she promised. Shes avoiding all of us since May. WE have tried to contact her at her center and by ejmails and had no response.

Anyone with an IQ over 20 would know that Dolphina is no expert. What she has done is taken an art form and brought it into the 21rst century. Many husbands around the world would still be married if their wives took her classes and used them at home when the kids are gone to the movies/elsewere.Dolphina babe! flaunt it! you got it and you have the right to show it babe. She is DEFINITELY NOT one of the "top" bellydancers in the world. She's spastic and jerky and most of the bellydance community see her as a running joke. You want to see real bellydancing? Check out Rachel Brice, Aziza, Ansuya, and Ariellah.

I think she's ok...workout video wise. I do get irritated when she uses her own original names (like the names she gives for the zills, "I am ready for my massage" please). I think she may have a few moves right, but try to keep in mind that she herself said she was blending different dances to make the WORKOUT. If you want authentic bellydance, I would go with Ansuya, Delilah, the Bellytwins or another similar dancer.

I can't believe this woman. I bellydance to express myself, and this woman is one of the reasons that people think I'm a cheap whore when they hear I dance. She aint no top bellydancer, either (ask IAMED). Look up AZIZA of Portland or TAHIA or SUHEIR ZAKI. And not mentioning posture... she may as well take a baseball bat to your lower back and knees.

One thing I can't really stand about Dolphina is how she's always focusing on sexysexysexy and her entire Goddess Workout looks like it's been made for a man to watch. Belly dancing is a folk dance to celebrate life, not so one can look sexy (you may look sexy but it's not the point). Plus she never mentions the correct and crucial posture for dancing :( This can seriously harm begginers who buy her video. Too trashy for me, and too trashy looking for a Goddess.

I TRULY feel for any poor woman who picks up her videos hoping to get any form of real instruction in belly dance. This gal's form is WRONG, her instruction is WRONG, it's not even Middle Eastern dance...it's wholly made up Dolphina-junk. Ask any studied student, dancer or teacher what they think of her.

Save your money and find a real teacher or reputable DVD.

I wouldn't call her "one of the top bellydancer in the world". Her videos are popular because they are an easy to buy mass market product and because of the "goddess" advertising, not because she is a good dancer or instructer. There is little respect for her in the actual bellydance community. She has poor technique and as you can see from the horrid grinding at the end of the video, she's doesn't present bellydance in a classy way.
