In almost every fucking interview Scott was asked what he thinks about being compared (critics compared him) to Eddie and shit, if he wasn't asked it was mentioned at the beginning of interview. I guess that's why he changed his way of singing on later albums,he wanted to escape from any fucking stupid comparing.But critics are guilty also for comparing Nirvana and PJ, who is bigger band and other BS.

as one in the film industry i can tell you this is professionally done, made to mimic/mock the amateur videos out there, and it does an excellent job :) well done, and yes, i laughed at 00:25 and a number of other places.
this album reminds me of a mix of vatican gift shop and shangri le de da. And probaly my favorite 2 albums they did. I think gift shop is where they proved that they were more then a 90's grudge band..... Just a great band the guitar solo is awsome in this ... Typical STP goodness... People compare this record to other older ones but you really cant because every album they do is so much different then others not a minor adjustment thats why I think bands fail cause they dont change the sound

STP, by far my favorite band. I wish they would do a video for Hazy Daze. That song is so amazing. Also Huckleberry Crumble. That's the first song I go to when I pop in the CD. Great album. Great comeback!!

@grungeguy83 "Only Dying" is a great hidden grunge type song by STP from back in the Core days if you haven't heard it. I just recently found it, it's awesome!
Also I love the slow samba style songs STP has put out through the years.... Samba Nova, And So I Know, About A Fool. Songs like Adhesive too. The musicianship and diversity STP has is amazing.
@WAIATA4U I think each of STP's albums have a unique sound and they have constantly changed and evolved, that's why they are still popular. Core was heavy, Purple was classic grunge, Tiny Music had a 60's feel, and No 4 and Shangri-La Dee Da were more electic. The new album is more classic rock. I'll be honest I wasn't blown away by the current album the first time I listened, I was hoping for a return to a sound like in Core. But once I accepted it was never going to be Core I now love it!

Ok people, Let's face it, STP is together with Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins, the real pack of bands that defined the 90's sound, call it grunge, alternative or simply Rock and Roll.
These guys in particular are amazing talented musicians, and Weiland is a heck of singer with a voice that can reach a huge range, as crooner or rocker.

One of my favourite STP songs; Sex Type Thing was a sneak peak at what the core sound of Velvet Revolver would sound like many years later This Take A Load Off is classix STP, reminding me a lot of Wicked Garden.
@wavpe09 I do like Pearl Jam and their new albume was good too. STP sounded nothing like them and they always had more of a pure Rock edge than most bands in the 90's, hence why I scratch my head when people used to put them in the Grunge genre.

Ok people, Let's face it, STP is together with Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins, the real pack of bands that defined the 90's sound, call it grunge, alternative or simply Rock and Roll.
These guys in particular are amazing talented musicians, and Weiland is a heck of singer with a voice that can reach a huge range, as crooner or rocker.

One of my favourite STP songs; Sex Type Thing was a sneak peak at what the core sound of Velvet Revolver would sound like many years later This Take A Load Off is classix STP, reminding me a lot of Wicked Garden.

@wavpe09 I do like Pearl Jam and their new albume was good too. STP sounded nothing like them and they always had more of a pure Rock edge than most bands in the 90's, hence why I scratch my head when people used to put them in the Grunge genre.

Yes, yes! STP is still the best band since Zeppelin. I said it first and I'm black (Like that really matters), ha ha! This was my top choice for a single but I'm a little disappointed by the vid; it's quite cool but not very creative . Keep on enjoying good music, all of you (Of every color).
