I love Pits, I have 2 and treat them like my children, but I swear that if they ever bit someone, I would kill my dogs myself. That behavior should never be tolerated. Most pits attack because they're owners haven't taught them any better. Thus I think Pitbull owners should be held responsible for the dogs actions.
