Biodiesel is much different from running your diesel engine on straight veggie oil. Biodiesel is more combustable, cleaner burning, and better on your engine. Straight veggie oil will work, but requires a pre-heating device in the engine and will wear out the engine much faster over time. Biodiesel may actually extend the life of a diesel engine better than regular diesel.
