Well, a very good friend of mine grew up in the USSR and she found it to be much, much better than they way things are now. She used to have free health care, free education, she could easily get a good, well paying job and live a happy life.
But then it all changed, and she was forced to move to Ireland.

Because during socialism the ruling class can still rise back up and take control once again (especially with countries like America backing them). It needs to be a dictatorship of the proletariats because there still are birth marks of a capitalist society during socialism. It's merely defending what you gain. not xcatly. there isnt a maximum wage. the point of my idea is instead of everyone getting same pay the wages should be set between a minimum and maximum wage so that everyone gets equitable amount. privatized religion is banning religion in workforce and any other places where in can bring about conflict. this is only for its protection. I believe capitalist companies should be regulated not owned by the state and can only make a certain amount of profit to sustain self

I think the key is not to let the government have too much power, but just enough.. as opposed to not having the people have too much freedom (communist perspective).
Clearly total government control, even in with 100% good intentions have failed in the past. People tend to do better for themselves as opposed to have someone control it.
I don't know if you live in america, but even with the flaws, overall there is incredible living/economic prosperity for the average person.
but how will it last? for one thing gas prices are skyrocketing at a ridiculous rate. in the end no one will get that gas. it will be too expensive to buy and those who control the industry wont be able to sustain themselves, and if not the gas will run out and then how will we power our vehicles that is renewable and environment friendly.
This is the beauty of supply and demand in a capitalistic society. Clearly there is an ever increasing demand for alternative fuels created by high expensive gas prices. Now if it is clear that oil is not going to be cheaper anytime soon, companies (maybe even oil companies themselve) will invest heavier into alternative fuel because they see the demand is there to make the investment worth it. We will have alternative fuel soon, granted that oil stays and keeps getting higher of course.
It is through this constant eb and flow in the market that creates high efficiency that creates the powerful economies you see today.
Back to oil, it is estimated that there are 1 trillion barrels of oil in the rockey mountains just waiting to be tapped. The only restrictions are regulations prohibiting drilling, enviromentalists. Now there will be a breaking point where the demand is so high that drilling will be unavoidable. So thats another potential factor that might lower oil prices.

The industrial relations system will be the best in the world because it will be pro worker and anti exploitation. People will still have to work for a living and make their own way in life with some government help. So, people will not degrade them selves through socialism. Clearly total government control, even in with 100% good intentions have failed in the past. People tend to do better for themselves as opposed to have someone control it.

This is the beauty of supply and demand in a capitalistic society. Clearly there is an ever increasing demand for alternative fuels created by high expensive gas prices. Now if it is clear that oil is not going to be cheaper anytime soon, companies (maybe even oil companies themselve) will invest heavier into alternative fuel because they see the demand is there to make the investment worth it. We will have alternative fuel soon, granted that oil stays and keeps getting higher of course.

Back to oil, it is estimated that there are 1 trillion barrels of oil in the rockey mountains just waiting to be tapped. The only restrictions are regulations prohibiting drilling, enviromentalists. Now there will be a breaking point where the demand is so high that drilling will be unavoidable. So thats another potential factor that might lower oil prices.

The population of America in 1860 was 31 million. You will not find a reliable resource any where that will say more than 800,000 Americans died during our civil war. Stalin starved and murdered more than 8 times that number most being civilians.
