Its funny because that year falcons choked. WE had a tough schedule and faced 5 teams coming off the bye week and had injuried and still went 9-7. Last season made us stronger. This year we're doing the things they said we would do last season.

He should have stayed with the Chiefs, they are going after Boldin now and might use that SECOND ROUNDER they got from the Tony trade for him (Cardinals lowered the price for him to a second). Think, Gonzalez, Bowe, Boldin, and Chambers.

Ryan could drop off this year, Turner is a beast, White is a great top receiver, Gonzalez is the best TE ever, and the offensive line is not the best. Playoff bound? Sure. But it won't be easy, especially with their schedule.

I'm a falcons fan. I real happy about this deal but as fans we have to not get too excited because guess what....it is matt ryans second year, THE SOPHMORE SLUMP. Teams will adjust and plus we have a tough schedule. We might make a play-off run.....just might.

being an Falcons fan for my entire life (yes i was born and raised in atlanta) i too have my doubts about could we make another play-off run with this being ryan's second year and the so called sophmore slump but then i remember one 2nd year qb named Ben Roethlisberger who happened to lead his steelers to a super bowl championship am I hopeful that ryan could repeat ben's accomplishmen of course am i betting on it no but the hope is always there.

I'm with you man i have been a die hard Falcon fna since i could remember i was born in Savannah and Raised in Atlanta and I'm still not 100% lock on the playoffs or super bowl just being real. We still have a very young DEF yes we have which should be a great OFF's bruh my biggest fear with this year is are we going to be able to lock down the WR's we see this year.
