This is from the Delicate Sound of Thunder. Does anyone know the name of and whatever happened to the hot little brunette backup singer that keeps giving sexy, devious looks in Dave's direction? She's got a super voice and superb eye candy to boot! You know he's nailing that nightly....mmmm
The video is from The Delicate Sound of Thunder DVD (mine was on VHS). They sell it on Amazon... its a great DVD of a live performance (I forgot where they were when it was recorded).
The lady closest to Gilmour is Rachel Fury...Next in line is Durga McBroom(The Black Lady)...& Last but definitely not least...My Favorite...Margaret Taylor
This version was definitely much more powerful, although the Pulse version was a bit more light hearted and fun, I like them both for different reasons.
If you watch the whole concert this is the only song where he looks like he's having a good time. Of course then I realised it was the last song of the show lol..
ummm ... this version is pussie bullshit ... then theres KITTIES version which is ... uncomprehanably better (idk how so spell that word fuck you if you comment about my spelling)
wtf... this version is the original and so it's the best... you see the energy and emotions ? you know what it is ABOUT ? i don't think you know! although the wall was not as good as other pf-stuff, there's much behind it!
This might be good, but Pulse was the definite post-Waters era concert tour for Floyd. They were incredible. The only difference between this and P.U.L.S.E. is that Gilmour is younger here, and ADSOT has no material from Division Bell. And if that's your argument, that the Divison Bell ruined PULSE, then you'd better re-evaluate that theory. The Divison Bell was NOT a bad album, at all.
@floydian06 Pulse was just on such a larger scale. The stage was huge, the visual effects were mind blowing and the sound was incredible. I was at Pulse (division bell tour) in Montreal, May 23rd 1994. The Montreal stadium is notorious for sounding terrible (ask Madonna concert goers), put Pink Floyd pulled off a miracle and made it sound awesome. Delicate sound of thunder was a nice tour but it just doesn't compare to sheer scale that Pulse was.
I'm still waiting for the DVD Version to come out, only got the tape version of the A Delicate Sound of Thunder Tour that came out. This is way better than the Pulse Tour!! What do you think?
Do you have this on DVD or is it going to be on DVD in the future??? Also is there a way that we can move this to a blank cd or DVD to make?? Get back to me dude!! It's nice to meet you and are u a Pink Floyd Fan??
Floydian06 the only difference is P.U.L.S.E. sucks in concert compared to Floyd to be quite honest.

The words to this song are prolific, they apply today as much as they did back then.
