PART 2 - I still thank you for doing this video, if this is a real experience. It take guts coming forward especially with what many would call the bland info yet it is the most important. When you started talking about something useful like mathematics I was intrigued, I care little what the aliens looked like. I am somewhat disappointed tho by the lack of useful content. You have stated they use a base 12 digit system (which is odd considering 8 or 16 is more mathematically pure). You have shown a basic numeric alphabet and a way to count in base12 on the human hand. I find it sad this was everything as I can already count + convert in base12 + 4 other base's in my head. Basics

It's base-12 number system, If we had 6 fingers on each hand, we would have 12 fingers and we would use that system by default.

We have 10 fingers and we use base-10 number system.

It is easier to use metric system because it's base-10 (not 12 and 16 like imperial).

To make an example - it's hard to calculate how much is one half of 7 foot, 5 inches and 3 eights of an inch (3 feet, 8 inches, 11 sixteenths).

It's really easy to calculate the same stuff in metric (half of 2.27m is 1.135m).
