Thanks for the info, I will use some of your advice when I visit. You explaining your foods is pretty funny. I had to do the same thing for a girlfriends british cousins when they got here in New Orleans last week. I hope the spicy food here did not leave a fire in their ass on that long flight back home across the pond
All true, a good indian, chinese, kebab or chippy just adds to your night out, I'm from Coventry and I swear this is the only place we call 'butties', 'batches'.
dude, I live in the south and and everything you've just mentioned we have. I've been making crisp butties since I was 7. prawn cocktail is the best. Doner kebabs are yummy but stopped eating them when I realised that the meat boulder or whatever you call it must pick up so much filth form the air.
i did like this video, maybe not as much as the others , but i would like to request that you do a video tour of your neighbourhood so we can see what its like and maybe then you wouldnt get as many comments about people saying that it doesn't happen where they live , this would be great if posssible , i hope its not too much to ask?
The only time I can eat a burger over here is when I'm drunk. Most Burgers here in England have a tendency to taste like cardboard.
The Curries are nice though.
Chinese food is uniformly awful here.
A strange thing happens to foreign people when they com to Britain - they forget how to cook good food and end up producing cuisine that is as bad as the native stuff.
I'm not sure if you'll see this as there are so many comments, but I was wondering if Britain has any of the following.. sorry if these seem like stupid things to ask about:
peanut butter
ramen noodles
hot dogs
goldfish crackers
starbursts
fries
popsicles
I don't know how youtube works because I've just joined, but please let me know through a message or something. I'm moving there soon.
@happybuddyperson It's Turkish cusine. Meat (lamb) with salad with chilli sauce in Pitta bread. Can be very healthy if cooked right and when you're drunk it's the best food ever!
Check your shit man, I hate the term yank. The south called the north yanks during the civil war. It is not the civil war, nor are you the south... but If you wanna be like the south, be my guest. All you need is an annoying accent and to contract to the words you and all into y'all and you're there
I've only heard of half the things you said. Some sound very interesting. What is a jacket potatoe? I think I know what it is but could someone still answer.
And about all that nonsense below, who the hell really cares how it's spelt? Didn't you hear Jordan-people fight for it! Stop complaining about spelling and just shove that sh*t in your mouth before someone comes and tries to take it away! lol
donner kebab...must be different up north. Usually round where im from it is customary to buy a kebab after a heavy nights drinking to purge the stomach of alchohol. It comes with a ritual..First exit the club/bar and stumble towards the nearest kebab van in sight, then once you have your kebab the salad must be scattered on the ground to purify it. Once this has been done, people eat the kebab which causes vomitting- purging the stomach contents. Next time go have a look, im not wrong.

According to somebody I know in continental Europe they jerk off into kebabs. Something to do with the turks not liking the Europeans. Dunno if it's true. :?
In New Orleans they have hot dog vendors on the corners in the French Quarter for all the drunks. Kebab mystery meat reminds me of the mystery water for the hot dogs. No one really knows!
In the US, we have gyros which are similar to doner kebabs, but you can't really get them at night (at least where I live in Iowa). After a night out here, people like to eat tacos from taco bell or pizza (or taco pizza). Depending on how drunk they are or if they can get someone to drive them, a lot of people will eat at 24 hour restaurants like Perkins or IHOP and order breakfast really late at night. It's always fun to watch them. Great video
Yeah, I second the Perkins and IHOP. Everyone I know goes to Perkins, because there's so many of them around. I remember stopping at a Perkins after 2am once, and there were a whole load of kids already in there, haha.
