This polo GTI is tuned!! i had a POLO GTI but Imprezza got me, and it can never be faster than the Golf R32, at least not if it the POLO is STOCK (not tuned).

@confidential303 , i bought it new, i'm the first owner, the only thing it had was a K&N filter, thats it, on dyno it had 161Hp and 250nM full stock.

believe me when i say a R32 is slow as hell.. drove it myself also and it was not spectaculair at all.

it does have seats and a great sound, but it's to heavy and it needs at least 300Hp to "go"

Polo is chiptuned a couple of weeks ago, what a diffrence!

240Hp on flywheel, turbo on it's max capacity also.

@Turbomier mine is an 06 Ralliart (Australian model, same as JDM)... so yeh i can turn my ESP off and rip proper skids. my model is the one with the Recaro seats and vented bonnet. mine would be around 120kw at the wheels = 180hp flywheel. not massive power, but its enough to scare aussie v8s, which is what most meatheads drive around here ;-) mild mods, just need to sort out a small MAF issue before it gets a tune and about 30-40 more hp.

but you are right, but i can't help it if he can't "launch" his subaru...

i did a 6.3sec to 60 that day. and if you are not on the right revs with a subaru, it drops dead.

but the subaru maybe has 260Hp but it also has alot of powerloss because of the 4WD drivetrain.

+ it's a bit more heavy as a polo to.

polo today has 240Hp and +350nM, and a 300hp subaru eats dust every time to give you an example ;-)

now it has 240Hp. it has 80.000km and now i feel the clutch is dying.

it's not slipping yet, but i don't think i make another 5000km with it.

so my first clutch is coming up ;-)

ciney was just a verry shot runway so we were not be able to run 200m or 400m.

not bad i guess, so getting into the 13's would be do-able...

@gizzy67celtic1 : for daily use: polo GTI, for circuit use: clio sport, for dragrace: polo gti, for allround: polo GTI

+ polo GTI has alot more potential, stock in straight line it is allready faster as a clio,

chiptune it and you'll be looking at 210Hp and +300nM, no clio will ever come close to you.

note: clio sport is verry verry good on track!!

it's a 150m dragrace, i do verry good reaction time time after time where other drivers miss sometimes more than a second.

try and make that up to 100Km/u against a car that is doing 6.3sec.

now i have a Milltek exhaust, K&N airfilter, Cupra D intercooler and KW suspension.

on dyno without the intercooler it had 170Hp and 255Nm.

now waithing for chiptuning and my goal is minimum 230Hp and 350nM.

That is "mild" chiptuning, it's easy to get 200- 210Hp with chiptuning only ;-)

but i bet it drives good.

about traction.

keep it in low revs, about 2000 - 2500rpm where it gives his best torque.

the rest must be done on feeling and playing with the gaspedal.

with a bit of practice you will soon get great results ;-)

tire pressure was on 1.8bar (not good for 1/4mile bacause it will slow you down in higher gears.) and backseat taken out.

gives you about 0.2sec to 60.

for the rest, just practice alot and it will come along;-)

work with feeling on your clutch.

its not tuned at all its all about how u set off n remember its only 150m sprint n uve got to take the weight ratio into contention the polo is alot lighter n wil pull away in first gear, ive got the polo gti 6n2 125bhp n it beats clio sports up to 3rd gear n it beats fiesta st standard n there 25bhp better off

and once you have a good start, it's twice as difficult for the opponent to get you back again.

almost impossible on a length of 150m.

unless, as you can see, you have a M5 or porsche turbo :-p
