Shit man, I sometimes want to stop playing. Then there are absolute badasses such as yourself that make me keep going. Thanks, and this song owns. Period.
@Rdub666 With everything including pedals and a throne....about 10 years ago....$5,800. The new ones are super expensive but awesome! Thanks for the question!
Dude that was awesome. I have to agree...this is the best song on the new album. Gene Hoglan is one of my favorite drummers and you totally nailed the style. Keep it up man!
One of my other favorite drummers is Dave Haley from the band Psycroptic. Love their last album (Ob)servant. Check it out!
excellent work again your drumming is flawless..please tell me it didnt take 22 years to get this good ..were you this good at like 6-10 years?..cuz i dont think i want to wait that long haha..i no thats silly but you no..im impatient :)
@999lukey It did not take me 22 years to be able to play this song. I have played off and on for over 22 years. I would have been able to play this song probably 5-6 years into learning how to play. The better you get, the slower you progress unless you practice all the time, which I do not.
@xXxRythosxXx It is really a matter of opinion. I can not really think of the hardest Fear Factory song. There are many difficult ones, some easy ones and some that I would consider some of the hardest. This is one of them. Cyberwaste is another one. Really, there are a few on each release. Thanks for the question and kind comments!
after watching some other videos and now watching this and your other Fear Factory cover, i think i have layed eyes on god, how long have you been playing for also do you have any advice, tips or techniques for double bass speed and hand speed?
You are far too kind. I have been playing for about 22 years off and on. Hand speed as well as foot speed is all about endurance. So, as far as your feet...toes down, heels up. Just keep doing single stroke rolls until your ankles burn. Do it every day for 30 minutes a day and you will build up your speed. As far as your hands...for blast beats, you need to learn to use your fingers while rotating your wrists. Practice with your hands for 30 minutes a day as well. Good luck!
Holy cow man. I tried the double pedal for a while and that didn't work at all for me. Right on tho man, you rock. You shold start looking for a recording contract. make some money off that skill! Keep jamming man!
I have to warm up for at least 20-30 minutes before I can play that fast. I can no way play that fast cold. I use DW9000's and swear by them. Thank you for the kind words! Check out some of my other drum covers as well when you get a chance.
Please do! I would be estatic if he would take the time to check it out! I also cover his song "You Suck" by SYL. Check it out! What do you do for Gene?
I'm his drum tech actually. Been with him since the Dethklok run last year. He's a great dude. I'll get him to check it out, just not sure when. We're on break for the week, so everyones home, but we start up again on Monday (3/22), and I'll see him that afternoon.
Please let Gene know if he knows anyone looking for a dedicated, touring, recording, fill in drummer for any type of music, please let me know! I am interested! Thank you!
i really don't like electrice kits you miss out on everything and on most eletrice kits theres no dynamics and to tune you turn a nob but thats cool great drumming though love fear factory i'd like to see play divine heresy failed creation that would be somthing
@teal1500 Then clearly you know very little about mid to pro level electronic drums. Everything youve just mentioned about electonic drums they have. Its down to the user how he/she sets up the modual. You can make them as natural as acoustic drums as you want. Its all in the programing. , have a play with a Roland TD20 next time youre in music store that has one.
@ibanezuv7 the only reason i said that is because every electric kit i've played has been to robotish if you will but then i say pearls new electric kit that things sweet sounds just like a real acoustic kit miced oh i don't mean this efencive sorry for the spelling

1.Fear Campaign
2.Powershifter
3.Christploitation
