Wsoxdye9 You don't seem to have mastered Mario's strong points. You're using smash attacks far too often, and you become incredibly predictable. You need to focus significantly more on aerial attacks and utilizing all forms of dodging. Simply using smash attacks constantly, which are relatively slow , you are giving a fast character like Sonic every opportunity to kick your ass. Master the above suggestions, and try again. It will help you prove wrong everyone's mis-conception that Mario sucks.

There is no such thing as an inferior/superior character, but the slower (and stronger) a character is, the more it relies on the player's ability to predict the movements of it's enemy and put a blast in it's path. A computer has no such ability - at least not to the extent required. It's exactly why, for example, cpu Ganondorf is a pushover. Therefore, a cpu Mario vs a cpu Sonic would not be a fair fight.
