I grew up with Black Sabbath Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd and Alice Cooper blasting into my ears on headphones being scratched out by a needle on vinyl. got a decent MCS (JCPenney) stereo about the time I got this album. ELO was kind of a poppy band but still very popular with most of my friends. I went to this tour with the Spaceship too.

funny thing about this song ( & the whole record for that matter ) is that it reminds me of san bernardino & the mojave desert in s. California. I was 19 & in college & still hanging out on weekends with my friends from childhood who were from belfast , northern Ireland & brazil & argentina & Quebec ...quite a fun group cursing each other out in four languages & packing into the car on a summer friday night to head out to the desert & blasting this LP from the car stereo on cassette of course.
