Matt, I am also a choir singer. Well, at least I used to be. I still like to perform from time to time in karaoke bars and around my coworkers because they don't really have the choice... Anyway, I know what you mean about how singing can change you. A day does not go by that I don't reflect back on my days in choir. It was one of the few joys that I had, and in fact, contacted my choir teachers recently. It was nice to tell them how much I think about them every single day 30 years later.
