I love the DrSuess book, its my favourite ever. Seeing others inspirations of it is great. i just wish this was longer, where can i see the whole thing?
It's a monologue. It's not supposed to have the words changed. Maybe it's not like his work, which I certainly believe is beautiful, but it's a cool video. Relax.
why change all the pictures and none of the words? Change both, do your own thing or do neither. It's like me making a beatles song called "Hey, Dude" insteade of "Hey, Dude" and that's all I changed was Jude to Dude.
Actually, changing 'Jude' to 'Dude' would make a pretty silly parody, but I don't find that a valid example because the ambiguity of "dude" (unless Dude is the actual name of someone) is vague, and impersonal. The fact that I love the story, and I love the book and spent the time and effort to combine that with my love to draw, shows that it's more than a silly word-change.
I know it's probably silly to reply to someone's online comment on an old video that I hardly check, but I guess this is for other readers as well. Ted Geisel is undeniably a great artist, and Dr. Seuss a great writer. Seuss's stories are kooky and stretched so that, they can, in a sense, reach out to everyone because they have no identity; because they are skewed and cartoony characters, my brother and I both can relate to them, and so can my neighbor, or even some kid across the country.
I believe that taking the story and redrawing them shows how the story relates to me, in my own way, while giving a tribute to one of my favorite books.
Lighten up (;! It's a wonder how someone can take this much effort to be all negative toward an artist who loves the work of the inspirational (and positively cheerful) Dr. Seuss.
I'm not proclaiming that I'm replacing Dr. Seuss, I'm not saying I want to be the best person out there. Dr. Seuss's words are beautiful and I just like to draw/illustrate, what's so wrong with that?

Why are people so anal about this?
The animation is beautiful and smooth and contains an original style.
Why does it need to be in both Dr. Seuss style AND words?
How in the world is THAT original?
The fact that he(?) took his own personal approach to this is what makes it creative.
The words in the story could relate to so many different things, and I think that this conveys the message well.

Not at all creative. Completely copied Suess's words and at least didn't have the nerve to attempt Ted Geisel's original and incredible artwork.
Do your OWN stuff...

This is the most beautiful thing there is on the planet, and I'm so grateful for having been able to watch it.
It's done so much for me, and yet it's just one little thing.

It was the most amazing visual interpretation that i've seen go along with the story.
I was awestruck and loved it to death. My only regret is that i wouldn't be able to embed it to show it off.
