my first mega man was 2 and i play alot of it! best game ever in my original nintendo days! then later play 1 and 1 feels new to me cause i play 2 first. then later borrow 3 from a friend. then ps1 days rented x4 or x5 not sure for a short period.

i say 7, 8 and 2 is the best mega man although i never played 7 and 8 but i like the graphic of it.... bright and sunshine.

roahm did you know if you use the freeze cracker on the cloud platforms... they freeze the cloud part and they reveal the actual plaform, DO NOT use the thunderbolt on them because they'll electrocute you and you'll fall off

I have a plan for those meddling pipi's or something. When you get bright sunlight at the end of the rain climb dowm jump to platforms and the mega egg should come up, get when the Pipii drop's it's egg shoot as fast as you can,it would be so easier with charge shots.it's also a plan for maximum bolts :).

I love how this game allows you to use Robot Master Weapons in others stages and can change the scenery

As for the birds.... you would have been better off in the movie Roahm. You would have made a great Actor

Stupid birds!! They are annoying little buggers. I know that the thunder bolt has major downside with certain enemies like , Turbo Man, Burst man and Shade Man. I learned the the hard way when I first played it.

@KurtKokaine1 As a matter of fact, Thunder bolt is one of the worst weapon to use cause it can only go in one direction and has 0 velocity. Therefore, it is annoying to use. Only Junk man is weak to the Thunder Bolt anyway. Oh , and thanks for correcting me though Spring Man is a nightmare if used the Thunder Bolt.

When used Thunder Bolt the side effect will occur which you already know anyway.

Turbo Man = fast rate of speed

Spring Man = MAGNET!

Yes, I know you can charge your shots. I prefer not to. For one thing, that's part of my challenge for these runs is to use only the default Mega Buster unless absolutely necessary (sometimes a utility is required, and some enemies in MM6 actually required charge shots). Beyond that, I prefer being able to constantly attack, rather than having to wait for a charge shot, and constantly listening to the charge sound annoys me.

You know, around 3:37, you can get your Bolts up to 999 quickly. I kind of discovered this by accident when I was playing this stage. What you have to do is charge a shot, then let the Pipi come onto the screen, and release the shot just after the egg hatches. The eight small birds will all get destroyed at once, and you can pick up what they drop. You can then go back a few paces and do the same thing again.

It really is always the birds. Not just in Mega Man either. If you played Ninja Gaiden on the NES you'll know what I mean. Out of all the ninja's, thugs, and monster trying to kill you it's the bloody birds that are the most feared.
