  • the real working class hero

  • ...oh, its just that freak faul, it is not the real JPM...can you imagine the real JPM even being caught dead in a get-up like faul is wearing!?

  • Comment removed

  • . At roughly 2.22 minutes in Faul says "Hello Dad" to Pauls father

Watch the reaction of Pauls father - No.... "Hello son," or "Hi Paul" - He just looks up and turns away. It`s quite sad... look at it closely.

  • This makes me nostalgic for an England that has gone

  • He was born in Liverpool and there all his life??? Why the fuck has the winkin wobbley headed cunt got a Bummie accent then?

  • Apparently this was actually filmed in Hollywood using actors. Once filming had finished, Paul and Linda got in thier helicopter and flew to thier exclusive Beverley Hills mansion, a mere 20 minute flight away.

  • @TheCatwoman61 'twas a joke, mate. But maybe it IS William charging $500 for a bloody concert ticket, lol.

  • Cycled past last week the egremont ferry pub is still there but no way was this filmed inside as you can't swing a cat in it.

The Chelsea reach now apts. Was it called the Chelsea reach pub back in 1973 ?

I remember it as a club in the eighties.

These are not Liverpool pubs BTW :)

  • HOW COME HE CHARGES 500 DOLLARS FOR 2 TICKETS THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT FOR THE DICK GENERATION

  • Paul is NOT dead.....AND if he was they are not going to let ALLLL these people in on the big "secret"

  • @speedave00 PAUL IS DEAD

  • @chillyrooster NOOOO I do believe that the beatles put those hints in on purpose to throw people off.....But he is for sure not dead......He is alive an d well......

  • @speedave00 did the beatles change his blood type and lines on his palms as well cuz they do not match

  • @chillyrooster Show me where there is evidence that his blood type is different and a close up photo of 1963 paul hand and current pauls hand. If it was officially revealed that his blood type was different, then everyone would know he is not original. It would be comman knowledge for everyone.

  • @speedave00 ok go to mybloodtype org and it says pauls blood is B but when he did a paternity test in 1980 it came back as A also u can google italian forensics prove paul is dead or wired mag on paul plus if u go to beatle palmastry or pid forum its all there

  • @chillyrooster You list as your Occupation on your profile page:POKER,COMEDY,PORN... you forgot CONSPIRACY THEORIES ;-)

  • wow linda actually looks good here.

  • @wurlitzer78 Linda was beauiful

  • ****RIP Paul***1942-1966*** nd those fucking fake moustacher to cover the surgery, what a shame sorry

  • To PID jerks: If Paul was really dead, why are all of his relatives acknowledging him?? If he was William Campbell, they of all people would have known...Paul Lives!

  • @TheCatwoman61 No it's really William Campbell. They just agreed to go along with it cuz he was buyin' the pints.

  • @devabarry Oh...yeah...sure...Paul is William, whatever you wanna believe mate....PIA

  • @devabarry Gotta tell you, this William Campbell guy is one talented dude! What a voice! What a gift of composition! If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was just as good as Paul McCartney!

  • for some reason I kept rewatching Paul saying "hello dad" at 2:21.. just thought it was cute =) and his smile at 3:48 is just adorable too

  • awww its heartwarming to see mccartney with his family, for some reason i thought he was so insanely talented he was from another planet and didnt do normal human things like sit down with the aunties and uncles

  • OOOOOH my gosh what an awsome videoooo!!! the whole Mac Family's there!!! It's the first time I see Paul's dad on video rather than on pics!! (And yes.... he looks like his old man, Mr. Mac must have been quite a looker in his youth as well!!) and I can also see where Paul got his talents,a the whole family's a bloody great choir!! A whole bunch of musical relatives!! =) WHAT A GREAAAAT share, blackheartbubble!!!! Thanks sooo much for this!! i cherished it!!

  • @CuteMcBeauty you took words right outta my mouth..I lived in England for a cple years and I tell you I really miss those pubs and the singing...we do that sometimes in Chicago..but i gotta tell you these ole higher then mightys here in s. cal? wd die first sad..I sing aloner haha thanks for the great post and thanks bbb for the upload! hugsall! • This is the Chelsea Reach pub /club in New Brighton.

It's no longer a pub its been converted to apartments.

I tried to get in that night but to no avail.

Linda did her usual "minder" bit not letting anyone go in the gents while Paul was in there

  • @gal00li Wondered where she was

  • @DomW63 The shot of the little pub on the river is the "Eggy" (Egremont Ferry) at Egremont and Paul went there fairly regularly in the mid to late sixties to see a relative, this pub is still thriving......but on this film, the interior shots are of the Chelsea Reach pub/club on the same promenade but about two and a half miles further down at New Brighton, as I previously said this is now converted into apartments.

  • wow his relatives are alll musical too. They have the harmoney spot on !

  • was that a spliff macca was smokeing? only jokeing never seen this before great footage.

  • @shaftsbury94 Coulda been :)

  • All I know is- they should RELEASE This on DVD, already!!

  • Drink to meeee drink to my healthhhh..♪ U know I can't drink any-moooore ♪

    Thanks for posting !

    Luvly!

  • Sir James Paul McCartney ROCKIN A MULLET!

  • paul's always been a bit "schmoozy" (or simply polite in my opinion) but I'll take that any day of the week over a famous person being a total wanker. At the end of the day just because you've followed their career you can't expect to be their new best friend. If you approach in a respectful manner obviously

  • Paul and his dad!!

  • you'd get thrown out for singing in a boozer in liverpool these days

  • how funny "i'm the only one paying for drinks tonight" he says then he borrows a few bills from his dad at 2:46 and says "thank's dad. i'll see you write some" maybe talking about getting him paid back with songwriting royalties!! awesome.

  • @swensev He actually says "I'll see you right sometime"

  • @Nutterworth you've got to be right but i just don't hear the "time" no matter how many times i play it. cheers!

  • @Nutterworth I reckon he say "I'll see you right, son," a fairly typical expression from the north of England.

  • incredible a legend him just having a drink in a packed pub...

  • Reminds me of my own family get togethers...apart from the famous rock star relative obviously.

  • looks like my auntys old pub the egremont ferry public house down by seacombe ferry on the wirral side? they have blurred the signage out but it deffo looks like the pub

  • what pub is this? is it still around today? looks great!

  • Totally tubular to the max!

    xoxo

    The Clarences

  • Paul seems a little out of sorts and a bit annoyed. He seems happy when Aunty Gin and his Dad shows up though. Great piece of footage.

  • The same video from nyrainbow #4 from the JPM TV special PM in a Liverpool pub is much better quality,

  • From the old James Paul McCartney ITV special 1973, right?

  • Good old Macca!

  • they allowed smoking indoors back then

  • this is y i love paul so down to earth

  • Great to see Maccas dad

  • does anyone know the name of this pub?

  • What is this taken from?

  • You can tell the pub is full of McCartneys - they're harmonizing perfectly. There's a sweet moment when Paul turns to Linda & starts singing it to her.

  • What a kind man, we love you Paul!!!

  • paul comes from real slobs...poor waitress probably got stiffed....makes his dad pay..what a cheap prick....

  • ginny=aunty gin

  • its probably not, but is that john lennon at 4:08?

  • @Gentlejoker22 That's a gentle joke, right? Perhaps your 22nd one?

  • Linda was the luckiest woman on earth! *sighs*

  • This was filmed in 2073. so awesome.

  • absolutly wonderful!

  • ...I think the..... 'I'm the only one payin for drinks'....& his dad handing him some money is for the camera......specially as Macca says to his dad....'I'll see ya right son'.......

  • McCartney is the Real Working Class Hero

  • @memeunited they both were

  • notice paul always knows where the camera is....never misses an oppurtunity for a little self promotion.

  • @NonStopRocker notice how the camera man keeps shoving the camera in paul's face....never misses an opportunity to get a look at the famous guy!

  • yep........ hes shoving it from 25 ft. away....its called wide angle lens....!

  • @NonStopRocker meh. i don't know what that means.

  • that means the camera was not in his face....he took it from a long distance lens....im a McCartney fan.....hes just a publicity hound...aint no thing

  • @NonStopRocker don't have to be so insulting about it. we all know that.. especially now a days.. =[

  • kinda thin skinned arent ya?...im not being insulting

  • @NonStopRocker forget whatever i said, i'm stupid, i don't care what you think anymore, and i don't know what that means. this is pointless.

  • damn...you must be!

  • @NonStopRocker you obviously missed my point.

  • lol...what point??....your last comment said this was pointless

  • @NonStopRocker Exactly.

  • The Beatle Paul!

  • Very cool! Never seen it before, thanks!

  • Say what you want about the McCartney clan of Liverpool, but they're close-knit, they love to sing, and they can all carry a tune!

  • amongst the beatles..paul was known as being real "tight" with a buck...ok..."cheap"...

so in this clip paul mentions that he's the only one paying for the drinks..then it appears that his dad gives him some money and he says thanks dad...

better off being pauls way then being a reckless spender...live under your means

  • After the Beatles hit it big, they became very "royal" in that their roadies carried the money for them. I assume the reason Paul's dad is handing the money to the barkeeper was for the same reason. Paul just didn't handle money anymore.

  • Auntie Gin! Open the door, and let em in!

  • where in Liverpool is this pub? is it still there? what was it called?

  • Great song at the start

    Its called

Its a long way to Tipperary

  • a wonderful find on you tube, lovely to seee Paul in such humble surroundings given the fame he had acheived by 1973, a truly back to roots gem of a find. Thanks for posting. It was typical of the time to have pub sing songs.

  • @Mersey26 Its from the TV special James Paul McCartney from April 1973

  • No need to know. Look at the sign Linda makes.. :)

  • At 04:11 Paul and Linda ("doll" or "darl"?) is going to the backroom.

It's left to imagination what was being done there.

    Anyone knows?

  • even though Paul is a vegaetarian, he still acts like a Ham..lol

  • There is nothing like family. It is wonderful to experience family with Paul. I went to his concert in Boston, he was awesome.

  • haha this is great!

  • Paul the Joe Dirt years.

  • aw, everyone was wearing them then.

  • This is probably my new all-time favourite YouTube video. Wonderful atmosphere, especially with all those great singalong tunes. I invite you to view my own two tribute videos: "Words On The Wall" and "You Gotta Love The Beatles". I am the writer of both songs. Cheers, Alan

  • This is great. :)

  • Amazing footage! Billy shears looks shitfaced at the end, what was he drinking? It looks like jaeger

  • This was actually filmed on Paul's 30th Birthday with all his family and friends. Jinny was Paul's Aunty (Jin) and immortilised in the song 'Let Em In' - Uncle Ernie was the guy Paul was singing harmony with.

  • Paul was 31 in 73.

  • The Pub is called 'The Chelsea Reach' it's on the Wirral side of Merseyside. Not too sure if it's still there to be honest

  • I am still there & it's bloody awful

  • Your still in Liverpool,or that pub?Is that pub still there?I mean is it still open? What was the name of it?Thanks I'll be in Liverpool Aug'09,wanted to check it out.

  • don't know name of the pub, but if you go on the tour of the Beatles you should be able to find out

  • Oh how I wish I was still there ... great to see this video .... thank you for posting.

  • I remember pubs like this....great places, except for the risk of contracting lung cancer from secondary smoke.

  • I love seeing famous people just kickin back, like mentioned by someone here..without the fan clamour.....great video. We still love you PM!

  • Yeah! You're right, Auntie Gin was mentioned in Let 'em In

  • Auntie Gin? is she mentioned in -let em in - what is this clip anyway??

  • Auntie Gin's Theme was the working title for I've Just Seen A Face (1965), was it not? The clip is from the 1973 TV special, "James Paul McCartney". I've always loved that pub scene - good, common, unsnobbish, local people from Liverpool having a good time together at the local pub...brings tears into my eyes.

  • Very Young Mac Cartney.

  • Paul and his relatives in a pub which is the coolest thing. He'd finally reached the stage of his career he wasn't mobbed by fans.

Maybe I'm the only one who observed this: doesn't this demonstrate the peacefulness of the English people? Especially when alcohol was flowing which lowered everyone inhibitions and would've made violence or some sort of disturbance even more possible. If this footage doesn't demonstrate that, I don't know what would.

  • It really is a wonderful clip, it is.

  • can anyone tell me the name of the pub,i missed it.been in liverpool a few times, its great, especially the grapes

  • i wish i was in the same pub i wouldve brought him a pint, where was this clip from

  • He forgot 2 mention DIKHEADS

  • This was great: Aunt Milly, Auntie Gin, and Dad all there.

  • iss bluh-ee livuhpuhl

  • OK, besides this whole thing being unbelievably sweet - people bursting into song in a pub, Jesus - I find it particularly touching when Paul's dad HANDS HIM MONEY FOR DRINKS and Paul says "Thanks, Dad." It is almost unbearable in the best way.

  • james Paul mccartney TV Show

  • Haha! Poor Ringo, that was a quick response Honey, This video kind've makes me sad, for some reason. I wish I could've been there... or been a Beatle actually.

  • So do I, weswally1... :) That would've been so awsome!! Or I wish I could've been like a Liverpool buddy, like Neil Aspinal. lol Or Mal Evans dude.

  • that was pauls dad...how sweet

  • What a great video, a real gem. Thanks for posting. Have you got any more?

  • yeah...Apple Interview 1968, Paul David Frost Interview with Paul McCartney, Helter Skelter Recording Session.

  • wow, this is cool. Thank you for sharing. Where did you get it from? lol It reminds me of a Hobbit gathering for some odd reason. People are so happy.

  • Hell yeah!

  • haha XD weswally1, you agree? lol Well, it really does remind me of that. The Beatles would make great Hobbits.

  • Except, you know, The Beatles are so tall and Hobbits are... well... Ringo might pass. XD
