I remember when they were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, I think in 1978, and the uproar they caused. Of course that is way back when SNL had decent musical guests like Ornette Coleman, Keith Jarrett, Frank Zappa, and so on. Miles Davis appeared as well, I think in 1981.
Did anybody hear Jerry Dammer's band cover this on Jools Holland the other night? It was pretty rad.. except for the guy rapping over it. I could have done with out that.
@acitonj Yeah I did. Thought it was awesome. As rappers go Supa4 ain't bad but would've been happy either way! Only on the Tuesday show so a lot of people missed it. Was on here but has been removed.
