Please shut up the Galil fires 5.56 and no Ak variant (AK 47 which fires a 7.62mm round, the Ak 74 and AK74U, which both fire 5.54mm round, AK99-103 whic also fire the 5,54mm and the AK 104 which fires a 7.62 like the original) so it is not "basically a modified AK-47 from Israel" unless AK 47s can chamber 5.56mm rounds, which they can not
Some facts: - The newer Ak-101 (from ak 100 series) shoots 5,56×45 mm NATO.
- Galil was based on the 7.62 Valmet Rk62 desing, by machinery and designs IMI bought from valmet. The receiver & gastube are identical. The rk62 was a finnish take on the ak47, but made easier to clean the gas tube and better sights (the same on galil). etc
@ThePoisonYouth I've had welts from playing airsoft. I've been shot with a paintball gun from 4 inches away, and didn't even know it happened. I guess I shouldn't bother trying to explain anything to a tough guy like you, though. You already know everything.
@SuomiBroadcast Exactly, the Finns took the brilliance of the AK, improved it's design and manufacturing (most importantly the peep sight) and the Israeli's made changes to make it more effective in dust and rechambered it to 5.56.
its like AK47,G3,M16 did threesome couple months later one of the guns had the birth of the Galil. I personally name the rifle the mut.

@ThePoisonYouth Some people don't like running around with an over sized hair dryer, though. So, they play airsoft.

@AceTrainerYT It must be pretty convenient that getting hit by airsoft feels like rough massage, as compared to the welts you get playing paintball.
