@SeymourTheOriginal Take a close look at the cutscene next time you watch it. Sin is in the form in which he is in water mostley. You can see him inside the sphere of water. XD
I tell you 7.8.9.10 whatever dont need to be remade....there perfect i love everyone of them, i agree after that they got a bit sour... there is a good storyline behind 12 and 13 but lers be honest they dont really capture like the previous ones did.... i had a nintendo back on the days but unfortunately i was relatively young and never heard of FF till 7. i have never been able to make myself fully play any of the earlier FF's and personally i would love to see them remade....
While I agree that modern FF's arent as good as the originals, I actually like some of them. FF12 has a pretty decent storyline, and I actually liked X-2 overall, just not the first 2 chapters.

@SRBall So havnt I, In the US they released 4 and 6 as 2 and 3, the first one was a reapoff and 5 didnt make it, 1,2,3 and 5 where in Japan and didnt make it to the US, untill resent years they made them but for emulators as it was too late to go back to Nintendo, I was confused at first untill i looked it up, I got 4,5 and 6 but i cant find 1,2 and 3, when i get them il go for 7,8 and 9 wish are on the PS1, X, X-2 and 12 are for PS2 and i already finished them so im gonna need a PS3.

@trizzLebeatz I agree, but if you say its 3D, then why you say that they are better than FF13, your saing that graphics make the final fantasy lively and i agree, but what i say happens is those old nintendo FF games where the golden age of final fantasy, and at about the time they came up with 3D they already lost the good story on the older ones, FFX was my first and hard to think a 2D FF charmed me after it, a 3D remake of those (GOOD 3D REMAKE) and its FF golden age again :D

Laying on my my bed listening to this enchanting music reminiscing the adventure I was taken on with Tidus and the colourful crews he journeyed with across those beautiful yet dangerous landscapes.
Those wonderful feelings of joy, sorrow and tension that immersed me into the story, and that last scene that left me emotionally drained,yet satisfied.
Never have I loved a bunch of characters as much as I did, and still do, with this game
every time i listen to any ffx song(which includes x-2) i get this feeling of sadness inside of me as i'm reminded of the story and how yuna and tidus separate for possibly forever....
I may have to buy a PS3 and play the remake that Square Enix is putting out. Hopefully its all the same, just in HD. The original game was purely amazing!

If they're gonna remake one they should go for an older one (VII or before) to show that yes, they can remake one without messing around with the story or ruining the damn combat system.

I remember when I played this game when it came out in 2001, one of the first PS2 games...I was only 11 then, I think I thought it was funny when Yuna fell through Tidus at the end, now I get tears in my eyes.
Also when I first played this the opening scene made me think Auron was a bad guy.

Beautiful opening. I will always remember playing this for the first time when I was 12 and how the opening throws you into a world of mystery and magic. @habboi I 100% agree. I'm 20 and done the same as you, picked it up again for £10 off ebay a few weeks back. A 10 year old game, last generation, for £10? Some games of this generation sell for less than that!
Every aspect of this games was near perfection. Even though Tidus was a little annoying and Yuna spoke super slow, it still added to the feel. Even the voice acting made it clear they were from seperate worlds. If there is anyone out there who hasn't played it... you haven't lived yet.

Opening's to game's are like buying houses... if it doesn't wow you in the first 15 seconds the chances are you will walk away (or at least not enjoy it as much). The Zanarkand opening in FFX didn't draw you in, no... it hit you like a freight train. Wtf after wtf after wtf then after all that... wtf? :O
it really only becomes a grind if you ran from a lot of battles.
Tactics also springs to mind, my Yuna is my best character with magic, even back in the Calm Lands she was miles ahead of Lulu with dmg so I decided to bring her over to the Dark Side and now she kicks ass... better still, so does her Aeons as they lvl with her... and even better than that is that Yuna's celestial is one of the easiest to get.. unlike Lulu's. =)
@habboi yea i first played this game when i was around your age.... i played it again when i was 16 going on 17 and realized so much more stuff about this game... its the best Final Fantasy imo.
like it or not, every story is connected. you are the main character but so is every person around. think about others and how you affect the end of their story...

Laying on my my bed listening to this enchanting music reminiscing the adventure I was taken on with Tidus and the colourful crews he journeyed with across those beautiful yet dangerous landscapes.
Those wonderful feelings of joy, sorrow and tension that immersed me into the story, and that last scene that left me emotionally drained,yet satisfied.
Never have I loved a bunch of characters as much as I did, and still do, with this game
This is my story.
And I wouldn't have it any other way

every time i listen to any ffx song(which includes x-2) i get this feeling of sadness inside of me as i'm reminded of the story and how yuna and tidus separate for possibly forever....

I may have to buy a PS3 and play the remake that Square Enix is putting out. Hopefully its all the same, just in HD. The original game was purely amazing!

The new FF - Games are OK, but not as Good as FFX was.
The old Parts...like 7 and 8 were good....but 10 was the best...will ever be.

@EmeraldDragon96 No, it didn't lol if I was going to pick one to remake first it would probably actually be VI. VII I can still play and X just isn't that old. If they're gonna remake one they should go for an older one (VII or before) to show that yes, they can remake one without messing around with the story or ruining the damn combat system.

I remember when I played this game when it came out in 2001, one of the first PS2 games...I was only 11 then, I think I thought it was funny when Yuna fell through Tidus at the end, now I get tears in my eyes.
Also when I first played this the opening scene made me think Auron was a bad guy.

Beautiful opening. I will always remember playing this for the first time when I was 12 and how the opening throws you into a world of mystery and magic. I'm 22 now and I re-bought it and started playing it yesterday. It's funny actually cause I picked up a lot more facts now that I'm older. @habboi I 100% agree. I'm 20 and done the same as you, picked it up again for £10 off ebay a few weeks back. A 10 year old game, last generation, for £10? Some games of this generation sell for less than that!
Every aspect of this games was near perfection. Even though Tidus was a little annoying and Yuna spoke super slow, it still added to the feel. Even the voice acting made it clear they were from seperate worlds. If there is anyone out there who hasn't played it... you haven't lived yet.

Opening's to game's are like buying houses... if it doesn't wow you in the first 15 seconds the chances are you will walk away (or at least not enjoy it as much). The Zanarkand opening in FFX didn't draw you in, no... it hit you like a freight train. Wtf after wtf after wtf then after all that... wtf? :O
Then you battle with Auron for added wtf.
FFXIII's intro crushes you into boredom :(

it really only becomes a grind if you ran from a lot of battles.
Tactics also springs to mind, my Yuna is my best character with magic, even back in the Calm Lands she was miles ahead of Lulu with dmg so I decided to bring her over to the Dark Side and now she kicks ass... better still, so does her Aeons as they lvl with her... and even better than that is that Yuna's celestial is one of the easiest to get.. unlike Lulu's. =)
