@iloveyou8770 ah thank, yes voice lessons often, I used to have them once a fortnight, but since I left eduction and started working again I have them quite sporadically, usually when i have an audition piece to work on, or just when i need to be told 'get your soft pallet up.' I like to think of singing a bit like physical exercises, sometimes it fine to run by your self, but sometimes you get more if your work with a personal trainer, I think of my singing teacher like that ;)

This is a noble attempt but the singer's microphone, IMHO, is the weakness. She has a strong and pleasant voice which is undermined by the tinny microphone. I don't think it can be corrected in post production.

@fdgnightmare part of the problem is, the vocal track varies in volume, I do use a feed back monitor when recording, but still even if the actual volume of my voice hasn't change , sometimes if i sing a higher note, my vibrato thickens, as i do not have sound card, the microphone can not proses the sound quick enough so it sounds loud, thus an uneven vocal track, on playback can also depend what system, speakers ect you are listing though, when I mix the tracks, it sounds...

@fdgnightmare (part 2) grate mix wise though my head phones, but as soon as I listen without or different pair, the mix sounds different, i try best but i'm not a sound engineer, nor have good recording equipment, my only aim, is to recorded a song, if i like the take I post it for other people to enjoy ;)
