  • Does this camera do well with a slightly shaky hand-held camera? Also what type of controller does it have for the manual focus?

  • For skateboarding...it should be ok as long as there's plenty of light... But to be honest, i'd look closely at something more flexible like the Panasonic GH1 or GH2

  • I'm not sure if you would know but would this be good for skateboarding footage?

  • First of all, is this camera sensitive to light? Secondly, is it possible to record in 4:3 mode and still keep a good and crisp picture quality? Been thinking about buying it, but I need to know other people's opinions first. I don't even know if 4:3 recording is possible?

  • what do you mean by "sensitive to light?"

AFAIK this model cannot record in 4:3 aspect ratio.

  • I mean how sensitive it is to record towards the sun for example, and how well i performs in darker environments.

  • since it records using a small sensor, dynamic range is limited, recording in a dimly-lit environment is decent, but not great...also the lens it came with is susceptible to color fringing, more apparent in high-contrast shots.

'not saying it's bad; it's very good as a consumer-grade HD cam. if you're expecting that it will be comparable with DSLRs that can record video, you will be sorely disappointed.

  • those cup cakes look sooooooo good

  • hey

can i ask what is ur render setting ?

  • using Quicktime 720 HD using the default settings.
