I have tried to do so many differen't messy buns and this is the only one I can get to look good EVERY time. I love it! I LOVE this! I did it today because I am working at a camp and wanted my hair completely out of my face, I got lost of compliments! One thing I did though since my hair is longer is after I was done tucking all the peices in I put another rubber band around the bun to hold it tighter so the pieces did not just fall and lay flat. But thanks soo much for this look. I downside though is that it is hard to take out but that really isn't a big deal.

@livvyloovy Hey! I have exactly the same type of hair. I would recommend just wetting your hair down, making a regular side ponitail, combing any stray hairs at the back. And then place 1 or 2 bobby pins along the back of your haid to keep stray hairs for the day, then you can make a messy bun or i love to just seperate the ponytail in two, twist both parts, and then twist them together and secure with a rubber band, it's so kawaii for school!
