Hey sdeath, that's why it's called a movie. In addition, I don't recall the directors or producers of Rocky 4 stating this movie was documentary based on facts/ actual events. This factitious popcorn eating 1980's ass kicking Hollywood film is just fun to watch. If you don't like it than don't watch it. I don't think people thought that at all, especially due to the fact that the Russians are never shown to be bad or evil in any way. Even the badass Drago is a good sport during the fight when he says "to the end" to Rocky. Sure he killed Apollo, but that kind of thing happens. And in this entire movie, there is no vodka drinking and very little furry hat wearing.
