Somewhat off putting, because I've yet to see my Mac G3 I recovered from a dumpster, actually crash, however, the ATI Rage 128 card does not have DVD daughter board for actual DVD though OS 9.2 installed supports DVD, and is not 128MB vid RAM, I tried PC133 SDRAM 512MB for more then one of the four slots, I think the max mem is actually 1GB total for four 256 sticks. Oh, well
I got a DELL and a Mac, the only difference between them is that the DELL has crashed 0 times and frozen 16 times in the 5 years ive had it, but the mac has frozen 21 times and "crashed" 31 times in the 2 years ive had it, it just does it in a "prettier" way. It has a "Gray screen of death" instead of a "Blue screen of death". Started writing these things down since macs shouldnt crash -.-
And for all the comments like "Mac doesn't have any games" or "Mac sucks" there is a research that Windows runs better on Macs than PCs and big gaming companies also make games for the mac

@haulbass17 Trust me, I tried to run OSX on a PC, but it didn't work, then, after several tries, it seemed to load but it couldn't find the keyboard, and it stuck there.
@drrobertoboogie97 I tried more then a few times to use Linux on PC and Windows is a walk in the park, because Ubuntu NEVER works for me, even with a new HDD to format to!
@chronofusion I tried several versions, even bought Suse 10, but Windows for me Partitions a drive and installs, whereas all Linux I try give me errors in partitioning space to get the OS from disk to HDD. I can never get past that phase so I decided, Windows is just so much easier. I never have disc formatting troubles using any Windows, really.
@MrKenzoGaijin I know, that's why I have a G4 Cube with an Intel Core 2 Duo and 4 gigs of memory (I changed the processor and the RAM). It is easier to upgrade it than PCs. You just push the latch and it opens.

I saw the blue screen of death 20 minutes after I first started to use Windows but I use Mac OS X for over 3 years and I have never seen it crash. I only saw photos of its kernel panic, but even that screen looks much better than the BSoD. BSoB is Courier on a blue screen and the Mac OS X kernel panic is a more elegant screen, it won't scare people off.
i like mac for its simplicity and ease of use but I don't think its better than windows. I know a fair bit about computers so i don't need a easy to use computer. also if i wanted to do any serious work (anything math or business related) i would use a PC while a mac is good for the creative stuff (art, videos etc.). and yes if you wanted to play games, it the PC
yup. Boot Camp is useful if you only have a mac, or a mac and a low end PC. But still, the Mac's gaming environment is no where near as robust as the PC's and although most games will run with Boot Camp on a mac, they usually run better on a PC. unless of course the game was developed for both platforms equally (blizzard games) or only the Mac, then they would probably be equal or run better on Mac respectively.

lol, macs dont crash, neither does any other device right? your phone or ipod never restarted or froze, your pc never errored or bsod'd and your mac never crashed...crashes are a fact of life...if you know how to use a computer or that device, crashes are either not a problem or have to be repaired...
since i had my first mac about 5 years ago(and i never switched back to pc) it has only crashed one time and my iphone crashed 2 times (the iphone crash a little more than it should do)

Yeah we have all new macs too. It can take 20 min just to log in but no matter what the pcs log in in under 10 sec. Ive also never had to wait 20 min for the homepage to load on a pc. Screw macs
