A good add-on to the roundkick defence is to kneekick your opponents nuts HARD and then go straight for the sweep. The kneekick to the nuts will decrease the possibility for the opponent to be able to fight back, PLUS it in a quarter of a second lifts him up a little making the sweep easier and the landing harder. Basic Karate ;)

To everyone out there, they cancelled the show because the shorter of the two guys Matt i think his name is, was severly injured during the Tae Kwon Do episode. His leg go so messed up that they couldn't continue. By the way, thanks to everyone out here who supports us Marines. I am currently in Afghanistan right now till November and seeing all your support really makes my day.

and one more thing, the round kick defense is called the counter to the rear leg kick which is a green belt move. we get alot of dropouts because of that move due to concussions

I may be a green belt in MCMAP but the 'blood choke' as it is called is very difficult to master. The majority of the time you are gonna get an air choke.

I do not under stand why people say the big guy whooped all those marines. First they are no marines, they are marines in training, second the guy is fully developed and is naturally a big guy. This doesn't mean a thing though because when the big guy took on the Master Gunnery Sergeant in the woods. The master Guns beat him, then again he was a true experienced marine.

Imaging being in the army with prior Russian Systema and Krav Maga experience combined from over two years before your basic. You would give a Marine a definite run for his money. It is the man's individual knowledge, his training, his mind, not the branch he's in.

Its not an Armed Forces, its an Armed Force. And yes, as an actual Branch of a military, I'd say the US Marines are the most versatile. But there are plenty of units within branches that are better than the US Marines...
