Quite agree MaryAuksi. I'm not a big fan of the Manics but the censorship of this image disgusts me much more than any image could. (Nanny state. Intellectual elite. They know what is best for you. I think this will be a good album. It's a really surprising song given the direction they were going with "Everything Must Go". I thought they were going to end up all purely refined and do like the Reznor thing: end up in techno-mollified lalaland somewhere, smugging over the quasi-philosophical thoughts capable of coming only to the minds of the luxury class. Lucky (at least for this song) they returned to their punk-rock roots.

It was an amazing gig, especially coz the venue was on the small side that was my 3rd time seeing them. Ah I had to get the bus back to the hotel I was staying at but we actually drove past Nicky being mobbed by fans :-) the bus driver stopped in the middle of the road and shout 'hey it's manic street preachers!' They were absolutely amazing on monday! James was so energetic and they did 2 sets!
