Attention Drummers/musicians!!! Get the book "realistic rock" by Carmine Appice!! If you like 60's-70's rock drumming it's the Bible. It turned my hopeless brother into a real rock guy. He would work on it every day and half way through the book and after learning the first Zeppelin record beat for beat he would go back to the jams and sound exactly like Simon Kirk of Free and Bad Company...with bonham fills to boot. It could save rock drumming im serious. Amazon.com
I know there are two pedals!! The point I was making was that one broke in the middle of the solo and he did fine without it! And actually I have 20/20 vision thank you very much! Save the dis's for some other site!
@LightninJoe1 Here's a third opinion, almost throughout the video, Kenny was using his double and you can hear that kick pedal beat struggle by the end which means that's the part when he broke his pedal (4:05).
And by the looks, he was actually still using the double pedal when it was broken and didn't realize it (and didn't care obviously) at the end. Anyway, I still think he's a really fucking good drummer and Kenny definitely knows his shit.
@LightninJoe1 are you blind? like seriously he's using a double pedal.
look next to the hihat pedal and there's two.
the hihat and the second bass pedal.
i mean seeing that you said "before those fancy double kick pedals" i can believe you're an old person and you eyes may not be as well, which i totally understand, just wanna correct you before someother guy becomes a MAJOR butt head.
This guy is a terrible. No wonder why no one has heard of him.
