Interesting, this is the way the modern movie does the song. I personally like the original stage version where Spanish rose is after the defeat of momma.
I was able to see this production. My nephew was involved in it. The whole thing was just awesome. The girl playing the part of Rose went above and beyond the call of duty here. She had to dye her hair and tan for weeks if not months for this part. And for the record, she is NOT trashy. It's called ACTING for a reason people. If you can make people believe it then you are doing something right. Good job Rose...and all of you.

she can sing a hell of a lot better then our rosie.
we didnt use the long version, which is dumb because if you dont use the long version, lines she says after dont make sense.
