Looks like that young guy was getting pretty confident riding that 250. it looks a little dangerous but you know your kid better then we do. But that is pretty cool you both have that much trust in each other. One day he will be another RC
haha the kid is standing up completely on the foot pegs dont worry i rode my dads 250 and nearly killed myself now im gunna watch the video to the right of the guy picking up the cr250
Stop Hating You Lot Are Just Jealous That You are over 20 maybe and you can't ride a 250 KTM 2 Stroke and he is 7 years old and he is riding it better than you.
look he has more of a chance of geting hurt on the smaller bikes than the big ones im sick of retards who dont know the difference between how the kid rides a smallbike or the big one
cool that hes doing it but think about what will happen when he falls off and breaks his leg just probably better sticking to the smaller bikes a lot easier to ride
Do you think this bike would be good for me? Im 11 years old bout to be 12 and im 5 foot 3 and im growing fast so do u recommend smaller or around this size? im really interested in the KTM 690 Enduro R. Thanks :)
Im a soon to be Father and watching this makes me nervous because I know when my boy is that age or younger Hell be doing the same thing... Great Job lil'Dude!!!
@mr290 I was wondering what the landing procedure was, that was awesome, he knew he had no other choice but to keep his speed up, his legs straight only reached the pegs ! haha
The kid wanted to ride the bike so let him. It's not irresponsible nor it is bad parenting. I was the same way when I was younger. You all would understand if you had grown up riding too.
@Brandon72P I have been riding since I was 5 and now as a Father there is no way in hell would I let my 7 yr old get on my 250 not because I doubt there abality to ride but for common sense they cant touch they cant start it and they make 50s children are not toys to brag about but a precious gift to be cherished and taken care of.
My kids have a yam pw 50. They can just get feet to ground. I worry that if this kid grabs a hand full of the gas he is gone. Do the same on a bike your size you my have a chance.
I understand completely that kids get hurt from other activities. Like I said, things happen that are sometimes out of our control. BUT, that does not mean we should, as parents, be reckless and intentionally put them into situations that greatly increase the chance of them incurring serious injury or worse. Props for atleast making sure he had all the gear. But I do think its irresponsible to sacrifice your childs safety in order to feel proud. just something to think about.
that is how you teach a kid. im sure if you keep him riding alot he will be up there with the pro's. good job. i wish my dad got me riding race bikes when i was younger
ya sorry for your losses people, but you know what, this kid has all the gear on, and he can ride it fine, he could get hurt just as bad on a little 50 or whatever he has
@landonu12 its funny you should say that he was prity nuts on his 50 him and a friend were rasing to be the first kid to jump an 80 foot table top at our practice track i told them both no more jumping it
@mr290 Even if hes ready still be careful with him that young on a bike like that. I'm not trying to say i know anything about his skill or anything but this year there was more deaths because dad's go out and buy there kids too big of bikes. O.o
I race MX, and my son grew up racing MX. But putting a kid that small on a bike that big big is fucking stupid and dangerous because he can't hold it up. The dad is an idiot. This isn't cute, it's just dumb. This is the kind of video we see from stupid rednecks without the proper gear, not otherwise responsible riders who otherwise seem to know what they are doing. Good think this is a small backyard track, and not a serious facility with a lot of other riders.
shut up you dumb pussies jesus christ.. if you never had to put a bike up against a tree to get on it your a pussy wannabe. i was ridin 400 2t when i was 9
woooow dude, every time he gassed it he looked like he was gonna crash. The kid is a competent rider but so much could go wrong, if you wanna satisfy YOUR ego, YOU go ride balls out. The other dad rode a bike appropriate and his kid was one a similar bike, you look like the idiot in all of this, its not impressive. Your kid is but you are a fool to even goad him into that.
As a racer and rider for over 20 years, this is the single most irresponsible thing I have ever seen, the poor kids is trying his heart out to impress his obviously stupid father, there is no room for error and no room for a tip over, the kid would be crushed to death. Id love the strap the father in an 8000 horsepower dragster and tell him drive that... just because you might be able to doesn't mean you should. The kid is competent..as a MINI bike rider cos thats what FITS him.
@vetb882 I would have been scared as hell and wouldnt have done it unless my dad made me. Im 13 and kinda scared of my dads cr250 after realizing its like twice the power of my kx100 thats already fast.
intresting, i think that if u cant sit on it without a triangle or a stand u shouldnt ride it but as long as hes staying in 1st and u kno when to grab the bike so he can stop its fine, not like hes doin enduros or clearin anything. and dont attack me just cuz i said i dont think hes stupid, sure it might not be smart but its not like he has bad intentions, hes being carful and watching im sure he said to keep it in 1st, tho i do understand what others are getting at also
this kid has confidence, being that high off the ground must be freaky haha, i bet he never hit powerband otherwise he wouldve gone right over haha great vid, ignore the loser hippies, hes got the gear on and hes careful enough
@landonu12 good that hes got the gear etc, however, no one rides with a helmet 3 sizes too big or boots that are too big, its equally stupid to ride a bike thats 3 sizes too big. I admire the kid but the fatehr is still a jack ass.IMHO
@caelanseth04 hes got the proper saftey gear on and hes not going super fast and hes driving real well for his age....but i understand that its not the best idea to let a 7 year old drive a 2 stroke 250,
Don't let him get TO confident on the bike. btw very good riding kid i rode a crf450r at age 11 and this kid id frigging 7 and on a ktm250 but the diffrence is i was pinning the 450 down a straight and clearing jumps lol
thats not even bad i ride my friends yz450f and im 14 i still top it out its not a big deal thats how kids learn to ride they not gonna stay on a 50 there hole life
You and your friend are retarded for even letting a 7 year old on a 250, that kid could have ruined his whole life by crashing on a bike that he can barely reach the footpegs on
I dont want to what to thow out a bunch a put downs, but I do want to inform you my best friends 9yo son is now paralyzed from this neck down....from this EXACT same activity. Iv rode bikes and ATVS my whole life, as has my friend. We taught our kids to ride as well... and safely. but shit happens, and looking back it was us that failed as parents by putting our kids on bikes they were not designed for. our pride for our kids got in the way and a child got severly hurt in the way.
@caelanseth04 i understand but do you take into consideration of the kids that are paralyzed from football and other sports plus the kids that have pased from other stuff like car crashes and bicyles and other things dangers are out thear and as parents we watch to keep them safe but i realy need to ask you if he had the proper gear like a leatt brace knee braces chest potecters and all the other safty that goes
Dude i totally agree,my friends child broke his two legs on a rm250.He is now in a wheelchair. In this video 1.50-1.55 is a close call as you can see a bit of wobble but this kid should be kept on a 65cc.I understand that as he rides the 250 he gets used to the powerband and kick a lot more as i have learned my lesson when i was a 9 years old my dad was at work and i took out his YZ450 with my cousin and i broke my arm and crack 7 rips because i had no idea what the power was like.
@13017105 guns dont kill dummy, the operators do, the kid had all his gear on and obviously has rode bikes before so i think this is pretty neat myself and not at all irresponsible...
@honda156mx yes i do, when i say "motos are guns they kill, you left he playing with a gun" is because bouth kills, a friend of min died in moto like that, he have all the gear on ! i not say for you evil.
He gases that thing more than my 20 year old riding bud on his 01' KX250. Awesome, and to think they quit selling kids bikes bc of lead in the levers, how many things in an average home have lead in them..................probably 100.
my older brother died at the age of 10 driving a 600 cc trail quad. SUPERVISE, and always wear a fucking helmet. Seriously. He was riding that quad as soon as he could steer the thing. 6ish.

6ish.
