Actually, this is one of my two favorite Elvis singles (the other being "Jailhose Rock.") What do they have in common? They're PURE. And this one is fascinating, because it shows him at his peak, completely healthy, completely musicianly, and completely aware of what else is going on around him musically at the time (soul/funk, hornband rock, the then-waning British blues/soul movement).
