The lens is not much for ordinary photography, but you can.

@RDProductions1001 No samples at hand, you can find some on flickr. The contrast and sharpness are much worse than "normal" lenses. But for movies wonderfully nice.

@spy96 500 mm is 500 mm on apsc, 35mm , medium format , or large format, there's no difference , angle of view however thats another story.

If I had the choice I'd rather take the Rokinon because it's far better quality glass.

just tried my Opteka 500mm f 6.3 , a really good lens for the price, everything has to be set to manual on your camera and it helps if you mount it on a tripod

Hallo,i see that you do understand from Lenses,I have a nikon d5000 camera and i want to buy one of rokinon 15-30x 2500mm telescope.I don't know if it is a correct choice for such this camera..Can you please help me about it..I don't know if really rokinon lenses are good or not,or better than nikkor lenses..Please give me some information about it.Thank so much for helps.
