Sadly Seventh Son of a Seventh Son was not so popular when it came out, even though it sold well. The die hard fans didnt like the keyboards on it.

I saw this show in Minneapolis. Maiden went on late because Megadeth, who opened, blew out half the PA and it had to be fixed.

Guns n Roses was supposed to open, but cancelled. Would have been nice to see them in their prime.

9/8 is a fancy 3/4 :P both triples.

The weirder part is the instrumental section near the end, goes 7/4, THAT'S a more irregular time signature. I love it, Iron Maiden incorporating progressive elements. It's heaven.

This has got to be one of the best songs EVER written. Why they don't play it more often is beyond. And what I love about this set is that this was back when they actually gave a shit and their solos were alot more bang on. I SO wish they played this at the Somewhere Back In Time tour. If this is the video form the Birmingham NEC show in November 1990 ( the gig filmed for the 'Maiden England' video ), then I were there - dead centre ... I mean right in the centre, not that I was in the centre and dead ... er, and in the front row, crushed up against the barriers.

No matter, it was cracking show and I couldn't hear properly for about 3 days afterwards.

I blame Iron Maiden ( amongst others ) for ruining my hearing !!
