Now *there's* something deep.... The Britannian theme is good... The gargoyle theme is good as well... But like in the game when they make peace at the end and both come together in harmony, it's better than good, it's great!
If I remember correctly, a mashup of the two songs serves as the ending theme of the game. It plays in the final cutscene where Lord Gargoyle Dude, Lord British, and the Avatar come together in peace.
Sorry, but for me those 2 songs aren't that similar. Sure, they share a common rhytm, but I go so far as calling the second theme as a variation of the first song. The "combined" sequence doesn't prove much, we just hear the first songs loudly blasting through the second one, as it's hardly discernible.
Well, that's the point. The timing and key is the same (clearly deliberate). This is something I imagine many people who know these songs might not realize.

Hmm one of the great music from ultima, good.
Heck, no more ultima though, that's sad.

The third one sounds cool. But I don't think they were based on each other. They just happened to have the same tempo

The British national anthem fits quite well in Ultima.

@NinjaGhostScorpion It isn't. "God Save the Queen" is the British National Anthem.

@sslaxx Honest mistake.

The "Gargoyle Lands" music was titled "Audchar Gargl Zenmur," which loosely translates from the Ultima Gargish to "Song of the Gargish People".

Thanks! I knew it was something like that. It's been a long time since I've read Gargoyle runes. ;)
I'll add that to the video info/keywords
