I doubt that ship's size was even close to any of the ships we can build these days. Even our current biggest ships can not carry over 2 million different animal species, let alone give them some moving space to to prevent serious health problems such as trombosis. Apart from that, you would at least need another ship like that just store the food required for one week.
@OhReallyNoWai 2 million ANIMAL species? Even the most conservative of estimates of air-breathing animals (mammals, birds, reptiles) doesn't exceed 17,000. The Genesis account states that Noah was to take only those animals with the breath of life in them. "Breathing" animals suggests lungs. Amphibians, fish, insects, etc, would NOT be on the Ark. Nor would aquatic mammals. This dramatically lowers the on-board animals. Need any animal-cargo be ADULTS? Have you really thought this through?
@Countrygent100 Most of the insects also require oxygen and food. Where do they rest and find food if there is nothing but sea? It doesn't really help the story along. Besides, where did the water come from and where did it go? Even with all the ice melting, the water level wouldn't get that much higher, let alone it covers the highest mountains. Even so, why would God allow the place to be flooded? Erase his own mistakes? Both the morale and the credibility of the story make no sense at all.
@OhReallyNoWai You're suggesting insects can't rest on floating debris or persist on dead plant or animal matter? The Genesis account speaks of "waters under the firmament" - vast subterranean seas extant at the time, some 4,400 years ago. A geocataclym disrupted the crust's integrity leading to vast tectonic plate shift and emission of high-pressure waters into the atmosphere; hence the rain. The morality of the deity who made the cataclysm is a theological question best debated elsewhere.
The discovery of Noah's Ark by Parasut and NAMI Chinese is a shameful hoax which has scammed innocent believers out of millions of dollars. View the secret "ice cave with Noah's Ark wood" on youtube channel TravelBeam: "The Sheep Is Break Down"
@benlyons83 It is proven by genetic researchers that skin color has nothing to do with genetics but with exposure to the sun. It is scientific fact in this day and age!
@dannywizz bahahah.. It has everything to do with genetics... That is why we have "throw backs". And if it didnt then over time everyone in Australia and Africa for example will all be black one day.. And the time it takes for a persons skin pigment to be geneticaly effected by the sun is longer than that of the dates Nohas Arks came to its end. And for what is worth, the Native Australians (Aboriginals) are the only race in the WORLD that can NOT throw back.... So how are they still black?
Lol so Noah had every species of creature on that ark even thoe he had to travel around every part of the world getting all the species of creature which even sic
@Weeman44444444444444 the bible specifically said "kind" not species in meaning instead of having a german shephard and labrador pair, u take a pair of wolves which produce those different dogs. at pre-flood times, the earth probably did not have a vast ocean that separated the continents, instead it was most likely a super continent of which makes it much easier to round up all the animals needed.
@eggchipsandbeans1 i worked out the timeline a few days back, it was more like 1444bc (The higher beings of humans before lived for 800 years each or something), so according to the bible, there were the 3 sons and their wives of noah that populated the earth from 1444bc onwards. Absolute bollocks
I don't believe this is the sight for the ark. However, some of the historical information is valid. And it's also true the top of Mt. Everest is littered with clams with closed valves. The current theory is they were pushed up there when the tectonic plates collided and created Everest. The only problem I have with that idea is that means the clams sat there virtually undisturbed for millions of years as the mountain rose.
@thewordofgod2010 ... The only problem I have with that idea is that means the clams sat there virtually undisturbed for millions of years as the mountain rose. ...
Considering that the Indian sub-continent is traveling northward at the rate of 1.125 inches per year, why isn't that possible? Everest wouldn't exist without India, you know?
@DarwinsFriend They say Mt. Everest formed some 60 million years ago. And that today it grows 2.4 inches a year. The Peak of Everest is about 29029 feet high. So 29029 x 12(convert to inches) = 348,348 inches tall. So divide the current growth rate 2.4 we have 348348/2.4 = 145145 years. At the current growth rate it would only take about 145,000 years to form Everest. That is still a very long time for clams to sit undisturbed. And where do they get 60 million then?
@thewordofgod2010 So the pressure of the water upon the land, per square foot, would still be over 11,000,000 pounds? Hmmm....funny there's no physical evidence for that after Noah's Flood.
@DarwinsFriend Actually the literal biblical text reads: "Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered." (ASV) Fifteen cubits is only 26 feet high. So either the flood is local (old earth creation view) or there were only hills on the earth when the flood happened (young earth creation).
Check this out, if this is true then we know were all the water went: watch?v=7kL7qDeI05U
@DarwinsFriend No kidding. Actually this is completely new to me. And that guy is not a creationist. The continents do actually fit together in the Pacific and the earth appears to have been stretched. Look at his videos on Mars and the moons of Jupiter it's hard to refute and I've been trying. Or do this, look on google earth you can clearly see the stretch lines in both the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans.
@DarwinsFriend Since you claim that video wasted your time I assume you have a logical explanation to give me? Exactly why do all the continents fit together in a sphere on Earth; the Moon; on Mars; the moons of Jupiter? I honestly would love to hear your explanation. Really not a religious topic, it's simple geometry. They fit together in a sphere and therefore it is logical to assume they were once together as a sphere. Or?
@thewordofgod2010 ... I honestly would love to hear your explanation ...
Well - to put it in an extremely basic format - think of the skin on chocolate pudding. The continents "float" on the pudding below. That's how Everest was created. To use your video as a basis for geology, now that the Indian sub-continent has nothing around its southern flanks - Everest should fall back to sea level. Your video's theories are ridiculous in their premise, especially in the area of the extra mass question.
@DarwinsFriend I understand plate tectonics and always assumed that is correct. However, what I see as empirical is the fact the continents fit in both the Pacific and the Atlantic. The Pangaea concept ignores that.. Go to google earth and look for yourself. You can see stretch lines on the ocean floor radiating in ALL directions. Not just the Atlantic but the Pacific too.
No - it does not. You're just another victim of Neal's propaganda - and he's a thief of Samuel Warren Carey's work. You've been duped. Adams' science is bad science. Why did this "expanding Earth" only start expanding in the last 250 million years? What was going on for the previous 4,160 million years?
@DarwinsFriend Neal gives a very long time frame for the expansion if you watched. Millions of years. And you're correct, this effect wasn't discovered by Neal Adams. It's just that Neal has computer technology they didn't have then that allows him to show how well this actually does work. Even better Neal has shown the same effect exists on other planets that can be seen even better. What he is showing is very close to empirical.
@thewordofgod2010 ... What he is showing is very close to empirical ...
No - it's much closer to Grade "a" Bullshit.
A contradicting example that can be seen at this very moment? The Lōʻihi Seamount is an active undersea volcano located around 35 km (22 mi) off the southeast coast of the island of Hawaii about 975 m (3,000 ft) below sea level and is over the "hot spot" that created the Hawaiian archipelago. There are 137 islands in this chain - heading northwest on the Pacific plate presently.
@DarwinsFriend What stands out to me about the Hawaiian islands (on google earth) is that you can actually see the stretch lines radiating from the west of island chain on the sea floor. Stretch lines! What is causing that?
Hey, maybe Neal is all wet, but I cannot so easily dismiss him. I think what he shows on Mars and the Moons is very clear. The Atlantic spread? I agree, that is hard to visualize. But honestly Pangaea looks like the work of a 1st grader.
There are 4 types of plate boundaries: Divergent boundaries, where new crust is generated as the plates pull away from each other. Convergent boundaries, where crust is destroyed as one plate dives under another. Transform boundaries, where crust is neither produced nor destroyed as the plates slide horizontally past each other. Plate boundary zones, broad belts in which boundaries are not well defined and the effects of plate interaction are unclear.
@thewordofgod2010 Perhaps the best known of the divergent boundaries is the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. This submerged mountain range, which extends from the Arctic Ocean to beyond the southern tip of Africa, is but one segment of the global mid-ocean ridge system that encircles the Earth. The rate of spreading along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge averages about 2.5 centimeters per year (cm/yr), or 25 km in a million years.
At 26, you really can't be this uneducated. You got snookered by a cool CG'ed movie!
@DarwinsFriend "You got snookered by a cool CG'ed movie!" LOL, yeah ok maybe, he did a really good job with that. But I still don't have an explanation for the stretch lines that radiate in all directions on the ocean flood. I was puzzled by that before I ever saw Neal's video. Plate tectonics doesn't explain this because those are the plates. Plate tectonics maybe the best explanation. Then again, it could just be groupthink.
@thewordofgod2010 ... Plate tectonics doesn't explain this because those are the plates ...
Um, yeah - it does.
The boundary between the lithosphere and the underlying asthenosphere is defined by a difference in response to stress - those lines you're seeing. Look at the Atlantic spread and do some research on the material spewing from that location and the nickle will drop in your head.
A little work on the internet and it will become clear that we've known about these forces for a century.
@DarwinsFriend If you can point me to a research paper that explains the stretch marks all over the ocean floor I will read it. I've done google searches looking for some kind of explanation. Obviously Neal's concept explains this very well. And maybe plate tectonics can as also, I just cannot find anywhere that it does. Or can anyone show me evidence of subduction on the sea floor? If not why not? At minimum Neal's videos brings up questions that need to be answered.
@thewordofgod2010 How to Build a Model Illustrating Sea-Floor Spreading and Subduction. Sea-floor spreading model. by. John C. Lahr. Open-File Report 99-132
@DarwinsFriend Nice find thanks. If I'm understanding the article the explanation for the apparent stretch marks is "Magnetic Stripes"? That's interesting. The only thing that jumps out at me about that is none of those lines run toward the poles. They all run exactly vertical to the coastlines of the continents. The only exception I see is Antarctica and the lines connecting it to Australia. But even there they run vertical to the Australian coast. Too coincidental I think.
I think you're giving Neal's obviously far fetched theories way too much juice.
Mr. Logic would say - the "vertical" relation of these items more-than-likely result from the rotation of the planet and the relationship of the poles, no? They might change again if the Earth's pole change, as they've done many times in the past. Putting some magical value in this is simply someone with the desire to be led, I think.
How many different people have found how many different remains of Noah's Ark? Which one is real? This one is not! If you want to know where the Ark is and the correct dimensions then read such text as The Lost Book Of ENKI. Genesis is close, however, it is only a re-write (with omissions) of tablets found in Sumeria and elsewhere. Which by the way were written thousands of years before "Bubba" Moses was even a twinkle in pop's eye. Could it be there is more than one Ark?
I believe that there were more than one boat for what will prevent the neighbors or friends of Noah from building their own boats. Noah may have been commissioned by God to bring along different animals which is probably the reason he stood out or mentioned in the Biblical story while others were not. I am not surprised that more than one has so far been found.
Prophet Noah was mentioned in the Quran already and his arc plus the area is also mentioned as to where it would be found later on. Read it and find out.. it's not a spoof... prove it wrong
@erikaleanne25 no its not the only word of god, if ur a good christian u should accept judaism too, cause its older.. just like we muslims do accept bible and the tora too.
@Ss0546 actually i do accept judaism. thats where christians came from. the old testament is in the bible. or the tora i should say. jesus was a jew. i never said i didnt accept judaism. they are gods chosen people. anyonw who does not accept them is damned
@mythicalhell if u knew what the bible said. and i mean study it and not off what others have sad u would see that accounts th bible have have happened. u see proof of the flood all over. frozen rivers of buffalo and mammoths frozen with grass in their mouth. if u notice plants that died would be shriveled up. not perfectly preserved. things the bible said would happen are happening now. earthquakes in diverse places for one. haiti and chile are great examples.
@erikaleanne25 Stop the lies!! I'm tired of being lied to! Either "provide" empirical evidence or if you can't(or are too lazy) "do not" bother responding! Your LAME responses of "just read the bible" aren't worth the time of day!
@mythicalhell ok mr. rude. where is your evidence. and who said i was lying. do u have some hatred toward "real christianity" cause the majority of the christians in america are fakes. so what is ur real problem. cause i dont see u give real evidence either. u want my address?!. we will hook up and ill show u. u only have so much space to write here u know!!!
@erikaleanne25 I'm not making the claims! The burden of proof falls on the one who makes the claims for instance: If I said hell does not exist and someone said, "what evidence do you have supporting that claim?" It's clearly up to me to provide the evidence or shut up! SO, who is the burden of proof on? The one who makes the claims! Am I rude? I can be when I get to the point of frustration that I am at! Oh well, I'm not perfect and admit it! WHERE'S THE EVIDENCE??!!
@mythicalhell the evidence is all around u u just refuse 2 c any different. i gave u sum points below. frozen mammoths eating grass & fozen rivers of swimming buffalo. mass amounts of fossilized animals dead in a concentrated area. dead clams that R closed. but when a clam dies they open up. and if a plant died. it would dry up & shrivel & turn 2 dirt. not be perfectly preserved. this is proof of a worldwide flood. an account in the BIBLE. study it. stop believing all the lies bout evolution
@erikaleanne25 The evidence all around me suggests a combination of evolution and ET seeding our plane! What about a god? I have no problem with that what so ever!! You must be thinking, what? My problem is with a 'PERSONAL' god who watches you 24/7 and let's you know whether you'll be getting a gift(heaven)or coal(hell)at the end of all things! SOUNDS LIKE A GOD MADE IN MAN'S IMAGE TO ME!
@mythicalhell and i gave u more than just read the bible. that was only one sentence. ur the one bein lame. did u ever think im tired of bein lied to by these God hating evolutionists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@mythicalhell I am sorry that you have been lied to and have been given cop-out answers for the Christian faith. Please read "A Ready Defense" by Josh McDowell. I was a skeptic with serious intellectual doubts about the validity of the bible, but this book showed me that to be a Christian you don't have to excercise "blind faith." Josh presents intellectual/philosophical/historical arguments for and against Christianity in this book and lets the reader make an informed decision.
@jordanelds Josh McDowell is an apologist so I'll pass given that one thing I have learned is apologists are most often very biased and intellectually dishonest! If you have any books written by historians I'll consider reading them. Although I think they're biased, their peers scrutinize their work, and the truth most likely will come out at which time I can examine it. So, if you have any writings from a historian please let me know.
@mythicalhell I have a question for you. Do you believe in absolute truth? What I mean is, do you believe that there are things that are true for all people at all times, and not dependent on individual circumstances? I am just curious as to your philosophy on the idea of truth and whether you hold to relativity or absolute truth.
@mythicalhell Certainly you would agree that some truth would be considered absolute. For example, under what circumstances would it be okay to rape and kill a woman? I don't know anyone that could legitimately come up with a valid reason for an action like this. I do agree with you that there are many gray areas in life's choices and that we need to use our reason to determine what is right for what the circumstance requires, but don't discount the fact that some things will never be acceptable
@jordanelds Our government has laws set up in which we must follow unless you want to end up in jail! Do I agree with them all? Of course not. but to live here with out being jailed etc you must follow them! Actually, most of the laws are more just than the bible, koran, and other holy books so we're doing well!
No one ha enough proof of Noah's ark because the Turkish authorities close off most of the mountain to exploration...if we had full access we would def have found something by now since numerous eye witnesses in the past have said that they have seen large wooden structures on the mountain before the authorities were so anal about exploration...interesting.
Gee, why haven't we seen all this "evidence" on National Geographic? Maybe they have better things to do than take photos of rock formations ... simply saying something is true in the absence of proof smacks of, well, religion, not science ...
@captainskubr thats because national geographic is strictly an evolutionary based magazene. if they wrote about an arc they would have to question their own beliefs. evolution is a religion........ atheism. not a science
i was getting chills reading this, its so amazing to actually BELIEVE that the events in the Bible existed :) and how it explains events that WILL happen, and already HAVE happened. truly amazing.
where did you get all this information about the sea creatures being found on mountains? id love to look into it more
Im Just asking, but how did Noah get all the Kangeroo's, Koalas, Wallabee's (plus the odd Bunyip or two) and the varied Australsian wildlife onto the Ark? Was Noah able to float to Auz and NZ before they went under? Or did the animals go to Noah? If so, how did they get there? And, how did they get back afterwards? Wouldnt they have been stranded in the EurAsain area? and if so, wouldnt there be the odd Kangeroo bone or two found laying about the much excevated Holy land and middle east?
@dortyhoor Applying logic to a fairy tale ruins the fairy tale. This is what creationists fail to understand they are doing with the bible. By trying to apply science to the bible, they only serve to make it look like a bad textbook.
Here is a theory, just going to throw it out there. Maybe just maybe Atheist scientists are wrong about a great many things, oh and by the way isn't that a conflict of interests and ethics problem ? Atheist scientist I mean, Atheist have already made up their mind so they are not open to the possibilities other then their own agenda, just saying.
@Technikian yeah see thats the problem though you believe lies. If my tax dollars are paying for Atheist research and their agenda is being taught in my kids school system then I think they owe me proof and evidence of their research that these theories represent.
I understand theories very well, I want them to provide evidence of provable, repeatable, documentary evidence that Atheism is correct and accurate & not from a, plaster casted or C.G.I. reproductions of what your theory says.
@Technikian Thats the excuse I get from every atheist on the planet, they are believing what they are told by their Antichrist master Dawkins. You are believing theory papers based on an endless paper trail that has a bunch of followers all shaking their head in unison with a theory that is opinion not fact and you have absolutely no solid proof other then what your have written about. Its a fairy tale to keep you ignorant to the facts. Your proof is laughable and lacking any evidence.
@Lavere2009 While I am neutral on this discussion you have had with 'Technikian' I just thought I would point out the irony of you dismissing his/her argument by saying that all they have as a defence is the written 'fairy tales' of Dawkins, because your defence is also only based upon the writings of others. A person relying on the written words of another to prove a truth against others who also also rely on words written by others is the irony.
@Technikian Try to prove your case of all your theories in a court of law and they would throw you out of court on hearsay. Not one of your scientist while under threat of perjury can testify that they have evidence. Its all one big lie and if you were truthful with yourself you man up and do the research yourself and find that out instead of having a believer shove it in your face.
that boat object has exist there for thousands of years right? maybe the locals made up the story of Noahs flood to explain its existence, maybe there was a more local flood, before the mountain line fully formed, and since that area is the origin of most civilizations, people spread the story and after thousands and thousands of years the story got broken up and diluted into the 250 flood myths we have today? (just speculation)
Awesome video and funny comments. If a secular scienist stated these same facts and pointed it towards lets say...evolution or any theory for that matter, these people would jump right on board, no questions asked. But instead they doubt and even deny pure evidence presented to them on a silver platter simply because they are anti-religious/God.
Or maybe, its because this user has not put up any sources or articles.
They could be talking BullShit, oh, but they are providing evidence for Christianity! Who needs sources! Lets take this discovery and twist it to prove our own beliefs!
@Technikian "I also looked up the ark myself, its a different story." - Are you now contradicting yourself by saying the story YOU read(however different it may be) is more accurate or truthful than what is in this video?
@mytuber81 You're absolutely right, and the sad fact is that people who accept the fossil records as evidence that we evolved from an animal ancestor, won't even consider the fact that scientists have tried to make it seem true by all the conspiracies of it, for instance, "The PILTDOWN fossil." Then, the paintings and drawings of imaginary walking apes that lived like human beings. They'll even accept science if it says that aliens created the universe. Sad.
@songwriter4artists "To those who have a better understanding of the nature and limits of science, Piltdown is little more than a wrong turn down a series of roads which, despite such detours, eventually arrives at the right destination. "
...People always try to lie to show what they 'believe' Jesus and Gabriel face appearing in toast, doors... walls.. is just the same as someone faking fossils. As for people who would believe aliens created the universe, just as stupid as the God Delusion.
@afreecountry The nature and limits of science would understand that scientific theories today are lame, and the people who defend those theories know about the missing links that would explain the creation of the universe, and until they find those missing links, they can't discard the creationist's theory. They can only choose to deny it, and certainly cannot refute it. Despite the detours of creation theory, it eventually arrives at the objective truth, which is superior to facts.
@songwriter4artists How can anything be superior to facts? When discussing the Facts, the facts are what's important. Religion offers no answer's to fact, only interprets them with Fantasy. I just read an article stating that Noah's Ark was probably 4,800 years ago, and seems though some religious people think the Earth is 5000 years old, how can the 200 years between them cause enough hatred in god to cause purging of the world, when 200 years from adam and eve would only be about 5 generations
@afreecountry You can't seem to comprehend details when given. Do you only read what you want to read with the intent to argue? What I said was "Truth" is superior to facts, which you can't understand apparently. I'll give you an example. It is a fact that everybody wants respect, but it is truth that respect is both given and earned. Treat others how you want to be treated is truth, but science does not teach that, means that one must look past science to determine the full meaning of life.
@songwriter4artists Science offers theory and opinions that then have to be backed up by evidence to then become as close to the truth as humanly possible, it is an eventual outcome that the truth becomes fact, like Gravity, the Atom and the Oxygen we breathe. The truth is what is believed, the fact is what is. There are arguments that human nature doesn't exist, but we're all looking for that bigger 'being', human nature says its god, science says its natural, so what is truth and what is fact
@afreecountry ...if were talkin 4800 years ago...its in Gilgameshes time.( 2700 BC )...where noahs ark story was copied from ...biblical bull IMO like the rest of it !!......hang on...just gota go fix the ark this Rhino put its horn through the side !!!
An ark! Silly! One stupid ark and all the worlds land and fresh water creatures aboard. So what did the carnivores eat? Had to have been some of the plant eaters? That is how it works in 'our' reality right? I like the idea that 8 people took care of millions and millions of species of animals with specific diets on a wooden boat! It really makes sense when I take these pills that lower my IQ 75 points. Stop insulting everyone's intelligence. Its impossible. It is 2010 for Christs sake.
The Flood and Noah's plight are a truly beautiful and moving myth. It was believable enough at the time to capture the imagination of what became the world's leading religions -- and for good reason. But all of this doesn't make it true. And the "evidence" in this video has all been debunked. Of course there are many flood stories -- they were major events in all cultures throughout history -- but that doesn't mean there was one gigantic one, which would be a physical impossibility.
Why would Noah build a boat with a curved hull? The ark need only float and hold all the animals, it wasn't going anyway in particular. Even if it were, how would Noah propel and steer such a massive vessel? Seems like making it like a massive sailing ship would be a waste of time, space and material.
I share the enthusiasm much as the video poster here; however, I don't believe God is going to reveal the Biblical artifacts because very foundation of believing in existence of God is by faith and faith only. I don't think, we as humans could possibly understand the wrath of God in bringing violent movement of water during the flood. Everything from the earth were moved up and down and around the world many times with strong under currents and anything is possible, even your theory.
Listen I am a christian and if you are also go to the website I am going to post. If you are not a christian and you argueing against them that the ark was not found go here also 100% you will realize you are wrong. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go here and read what the SCIENTISTS say.

Watch the Ancient Aliens series, its pretty good, got some new ideas about Noah's Ark being feesible if indeed it was a DNA bank...mis-interpreted in stories and eventually ending up as being a boat... @moniquitus1 ,couldn't agree more buddy...its impossible to believe one person was entrusted with this task, to travel the world ~kinda like Santa Claus~ and collect 2 of everything from every corner of the world..please ppl..are you frikking kidding me?
How do people look at this story and believe it was possible? There are an estimated 40,000 species of spider alone on the planet, over 11,000 different species of ant, and an estimated 19,000 different species of bees. Some estimates put the number of species on the planet as high as 100 million. Please be rational. Noah is a work of fiction.
God loves his creation so much that He has done everything to lead his people to the truth of his eternal existence. He has spared many self-proclaimed, even the hardest of all atheists from hell at near death experiences so they can go tell the truth to others. Will you believe, or still mock the testimony of an ex-atheist? Will you say, they were dreaming, or hallucinating? Are you a hopeless cause? I pray you not. Open your heart to the truth friend, peace to you.
Many people blatantly refuse to believe and accept the eternal existence of God. Why? Because they want to be god unto themselves; without boundaries, “my way fulfills all unrighteous desires.” Imagine a world without any Order, hmmm? No police? As flawed human government may be where do you suppose this innate knowledge or desire for order originate from? Jesus is the Creator and Ruler and Judge of the universe. Everyone will see Him, your doubts will be no more. Every knee shall bow…,
@Time4u2Believe What a load of religious bullshit. I am an atheist and Ifind your "claims" about people like me disgustingly stupid and ignorant. Try to learn a little about the things you comment on. Because you are only full of shit. To be an atheist and to want to be a "god" is self-defeating claim. Believe as much as you want, but leave the rest of the world out of your mental delusional disorders. No such thing as "god". Flood never happened 'coz this is a Gilgamesh story stolen from India
@Time4u2Believe Here is how "god" loves you: Sodoma and Gomora, Hitler and Mussolini (christians). 300 years of inquisition, 2000 years of christian violence, destruction, horrors of every possible kind perpetrated by christians. Hundreds of years of pedofilia, intrigues, sex, drugs and rock and roll. Christians and their churc started more wars in the name of their "god" than the st of the dictators and "conquistators" all put together. Thanks, but do not love me this much. It hurts.
@PRIEBLE I agree that these are the instances of depravity. Please note that these depravities were committed/embraced by christians. It is not the lack of "god" in modern society, but a display of pure hypocrisy throughout the history where the violent people used every means possible to plunder, conquest, rape and kill for their own benefits. Religion, as history demonstraes clearly, was one of the most powerful weapons of mass destruction. If anything, we need a liberation from any such "god"
@moniquitus1 How were they "embraced" by Christians? There is no such thing as a perfect person. Tell me if i am completely missing your point, and i think i could be.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matt 24:37) The finding of Noahs Ark is a warning sign of God imminent judgment and mankind final 7yrs in this dispensation. Jesus is COMING very soon! Believe now and be saved from coming judgment or wait for this sign (Rapture, millions of Christians mysteriously disappears). Are you not remotely curious to why so many terrible things are happening? Floods, volcanoes, earthquakes, oil drilling disaster, etc.?
For fuck's sake, Christianity and proselytizing belongs in church on Sundays where everyone goes to pretend they are a "Good Christian." It sure as hell doesn't belong on the internet. And what if there was a flood and a Noah? He might have just eaten some special berries and thought God was talking to him.
@PaladinConstantin uh. i read the Bible almost everyday smart 1. And God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Heaven, Hell, the Bible, Noah's Ark.... etc. R NOT FAIRYTALES!
@penguinluver7777 If u think that this is actualy real then i feel sorry for you because the christian god is nothing but a sick Tyrant. If u have actual read all of the bible and not ignore the uncomfortable parts then you would see how this book was made to control people
@PaladinConstantin its completely personal my friend. im not gonna have anything against anyone who likes to believe in fairy tales or believe in a talking snake. then there are some ppl who like the truth (which there is only one) provided by scientific evidence and not by stories in scriptures written thousands of years ago. but then again who really gives a fuck. just live your life and have fun. dont let anything hold u back. u only have one life to live anyways
I doubt that ship's size was even close to any of the ships we can build these days. Even our current biggest ships can not carry over 2 million different animal species, let alone give them some moving space to to prevent serious health problems such as trombosis. Apart from that, you would at least need another ship like that just store the food required for one week.
OhReallyNoWai 2 months ago
@OhReallyNoWai 2 million ANIMAL species? Even the most conservative of estimates of air-breathing animals (mammals, birds, reptiles) doesn't exceed 17,000. The Genesis account states that Noah was to take only those animals with the breath of life in them. "Breathing" animals suggests lungs. Amphibians, fish, insects, etc, would NOT be on the Ark. Nor would aquatic mammals. This dramatically lowers the on-board animals. Need any animal-cargo be ADULTS? Have you really thought this through?
Countrygent100 2 months ago
@Countrygent100 Most of the insects also require oxygen and food. Where do they rest and find food if there is nothing but sea? It doesn't really help the story along. Besides, where did the water come from and where did it go? Even with all the ice melting, the water level wouldn't get that much higher, let alone it covers the highest mountains. Even so, why would God allow the place to be flooded? Erase his own mistakes? Both the morale and the credibility of the story make no sense at all.
OhReallyNoWai 2 months ago
@OhReallyNoWai You're suggesting insects can't rest on floating debris or persist on dead plant or animal matter? The Genesis account speaks of "waters under the firmament" - vast subterranean seas extant at the time, some 4,400 years ago. A geocataclym disrupted the crust's integrity leading to vast tectonic plate shift and emission of high-pressure waters into the atmosphere; hence the rain. The morality of the deity who made the cataclysm is a theological question best debated elsewhere.

@Weeman44444444444444 the bible specifically said "kind" not species in meaning instead of having a german shephard and labrador pair, u take a pair of wolves which produce those different dogs. at pre-flood times, the earth probably did not have a vast ocean that separated the continents, instead it was most likely a super continent of which makes it much easier to round up all the animals needed.

I don't believe this is the sight for the ark. However, some of the historical information is valid. And it's also true the top of Mt. Everest is littered with clams with closed valves. The current theory is they were pushed up there when the tectonic plates collided and created Everest. The only problem I have with that idea is that means the clams sat there virtually undisturbed for millions of years as the mountain rose.
thewordofgod2010 11 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ... The only problem I have with that idea is that means the clams sat there virtually undisturbed for millions of years as the mountain rose. ...
Considering that the Indian sub-continent is traveling northward at the rate of 1.125 inches per year, why isn't that possible? Everest wouldn't exist without India, you know?
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend They say Mt. Everest formed some 60 million years ago. And that today it grows 2.4 inches a year. The Peak of Everest is about 29029 feet high. So 29029 x 12(convert to inches) = 348,348 inches tall. So divide the current growth rate 2.4 we have 348348/2.4 = 145145 years. At the current growth rate it would only take about 145,000 years to form Everest. That is still a very long time for clams to sit undisturbed. And where do they get 60 million then?
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 So the mountains height 4800 years ago would be?
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend About 960 ft shorter, assuming the rate is constant. What's your point exactly?
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 So the pressure of the water upon the land, per square foot, would still be over 11,000,000 pounds? Hmmm....funny there's no physical evidence for that after Noah's Flood.
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend Actually the literal biblical text reads: "Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered." (ASV) Fifteen cubits is only 26 feet high. So either the flood is local (old earth creation view) or there were only hills on the earth when the flood happened (young earth creation).

DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend No kidding. Actually this is completely new to me. And that guy is not a creationist. The continents do actually fit together in the Pacific and the earth appears to have been stretched. Look at his videos on Mars and the moons of Jupiter it's hard to refute and I've been trying. Or do this, look on google earth you can clearly see the stretch lines in both the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans.

thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend Since you claim that video wasted your time I assume you have a logical explanation to give me? Exactly why do all the continents fit together in a sphere on Earth; the Moon; on Mars; the moons of Jupiter? I honestly would love to hear your explanation. Really not a religious topic, it's simple geometry. They fit together in a sphere and therefore it is logical to assume they were once together as a sphere. Or?
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ... I honestly would love to hear your explanation ...
Well - to put it in an extremely basic format - think of the skin on chocolate pudding. The continents "float" on the pudding below. That's how Everest was created. To use your video as a basis for geology, now that the Indian sub-continent has nothing around its southern flanks - Everest should fall back to sea level. Your video's theories are ridiculous in their premise, especially in the area of the extra mass question.
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend I understand plate tectonics and always assumed that is correct. However, what I see as empirical is the fact the continents fit in both the Pacific and the Atlantic. The Pangaea concept ignores that.. Go to google earth and look for yourself. You can see stretch lines on the ocean floor radiating in ALL directions. Not just the Atlantic but the Pacific too.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ... The Pangaea concept ignores that ...
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend Neal gives a very long time frame for the expansion if you watched. Millions of years. And you're correct, this effect wasn't discovered by Neal Adams. It's just that Neal has computer technology they didn't have then that allows him to show how well this actually does work. Even better Neal has shown the same effect exists on other planets that can be seen even better. What he is showing is very close to empirical.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ...
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend What stands out to me about the Hawaiian islands (on google earth) is that you can actually see the stretch lines radiating from the west of island chain on the sea floor. Stretch lines! What is causing that?
Hey, maybe Neal is all wet, but I cannot so easily dismiss him. I think what he shows on Mars and the Moons is very clear. The Atlantic spread? I agree, that is hard to visualize. But honestly Pangaea looks like the work of a 1st grader.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ... Stretch lines! ...
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend excuse me the Pacific spread is hard to visualize. Easy to the the Atlantic.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 Perhaps the best known of the divergent boundaries is the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. This submerged mountain range, which extends from the Arctic Ocean to beyond the southern tip of Africa, is but one segment of the global mid-ocean ridge system that encircles the Earth. The rate of spreading along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge averages about 2.5 centimeters per year (cm/yr), or 25 km in a million years.
At 26, you really can't be this uneducated. You got snookered by a cool CG'ed movie!
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend "You got snookered by a cool CG'ed movie!" LOL, yeah ok maybe, he did a really good job with that. But I still don't have an explanation for the stretch lines that radiate in all directions on the ocean flood. I was puzzled by that before I ever saw Neal's video. Plate tectonics doesn't explain this because those are the plates. Plate tectonics maybe the best explanation. Then again, it could just be groupthink.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ...
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend If you can point me to a research paper that explains the stretch marks all over the ocean floor I will read it. I've done google searches looking for some kind of explanation. Obviously Neal's concept explains this very well. And maybe plate tectonics can as also, I just cannot find anywhere that it does. Or can anyone show me evidence of subduction on the sea floor? If not why not? At minimum Neal's videos brings up questions that need to be answered.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 How to Build a Model Illustrating Sea-Floor Spreading and Subduction. Sea-floor spreading model. by. John C. Lahr. Open-File Report 99-132
DarwinsFriend 10 months ago
@DarwinsFriend Nice find thanks. If I'm understanding the article the explanation for the apparent stretch marks is "Magnetic Stripes"? That's interesting. The only thing that jumps out at me about that is none of those lines run toward the poles. They all run exactly vertical to the coastlines of the continents. The only exception I see is Antarctica and the lines connecting it to Australia. But even there they run vertical to the Australian coast. Too coincidental I think.
thewordofgod2010 10 months ago
@thewordofgod2010 ... Too coincidental I think ...
Wow. That's some imagination.

Josh presents intellectual/philosophical/historical arguments for and against Christianity in this book and lets the reader make an informed decision.
jordanelds 1 year ago
@jordanelds Josh McDowell is an apologist so I'll pass given that one thing I have learned is apologists are most often very biased and intellectually dishonest! If you have any books written by historians I'll consider reading them. So, if you have any writings from a historian please let me know.

@mythicalhell I have a question for you. Do you believe in absolute truth? jordanelds 1 year ago
@jordanelds Relativity!
mythicalhell 1 year ago
@mythicalhell Certainly you would agree that some truth would be considered absolute. For example, under what circumstances would it be okay to rape and kill a woman? I don't know anyone that could legitimately come up with a valid reason for an action like this. I do agree with you that there are many gray areas in life's choices and that we need to use our reason to determine what is right for what the circumstance requires, but don't discount the fact that some things will never be acceptable

Thats all, peace and love etc.

Lavere2009 1 year ago
@Lavere2009 Actually scientists have been taken to court, and have provided evidence.
Hell, without scientists, rapists and murderers wouldn't be found via DNA and sent to jail.

@Technikian Keep following your Atheism lie when the time comes to face the music though you have only yourself to blame.

I'm afraid its evolution that wins in court over and over again. Read up on Kitzmiller v. Dover.

that boat object has exist there for thousands of years right? maybe the locals made up the story of Noahs flood to explain its existence, maybe there was a more local flood, before the mountain line fully formed, and since that area is the origin of most civilizations, people spread the story and after thousands and thousands of years the story got broken up and diluted into the 250 flood myths we have today? (just speculation)

Awesome video and funny comments. If a secular scienist stated these same facts and pointed it towards lets say...evolution or any theory for that matter, these people would jump right on board, no questions asked. But instead they doubt and even deny pure evidence presented to them on a silver platter simply because they are anti-religious/God.
Funny ; the Bible said this would happen.

Or maybe, its because this user has not put up any sources or articles.
They could be talking BullShit, oh, but they are providing evidence for Christianity! Who needs sources! Lets take this discovery and twist it to prove our own beliefs!

@Technikian "They could be talking BullShit" - Why do you assume that so quickly?

@mytuber81
Because it happens alot with these videos.
I also looked up the ark myself, its a different story.

@Technikian "I also looked up the ark myself, its a different story." - Are you now contradicting yourself by saying the story YOU read(however different it may be) is more accurate or truthful than what is in this video?
By the way I have also done research as well;)
mytuber81 1 year ago 3
@mytuber81 You're absolutely right, and the sad fact is that people who accept the fossil records as evidence that we evolved from an animal ancestor, won't even consider the fact that scientists have tried to make it seem true by all the conspiracies of it, for instance, "The PILTDOWN fossil." Then, the paintings and drawings of imaginary walking apes that lived like human beings. They'll even accept science if it says that aliens created the universe. Sad.
songwriter4artists 1 year ago
@songwriter4artists "To those who have a better understanding of the nature and limits of science, Piltdown is little more than a wrong turn down a series of roads which, despite such detours, eventually arrives at the right destination. "
...People always try to lie to show what they 'believe' Jesus and Gabriel face appearing in toast, doors... walls.. is just the same as someone faking fossils. As for people who would believe aliens created the universe, just as stupid as the God Delusion.
afreecountry 11 months ago
@afreecountry The nature and limits of science would understand that scientific theories today are lame, and the people who defend those theories know about the missing links that would explain the creation of the universe, and until they find those missing links, they can't discard the creationist's theory. They can only choose to deny it, and certainly cannot refute it. Despite the detours of creation theory, it eventually arrives at the objective truth, which is superior to facts.
songwriter4artists 11 months ago
@songwriter4artists How can anything be superior to facts? When discussing the Facts, the facts are what's important. Religion offers no answer's to fact, only interprets them with Fantasy. I just read an article stating that Noah's Ark was probably 4,800 years ago, and seems though some religious people think the Earth is 5000 years old, how can the 200 years between them cause enough hatred in god to cause purging of the world, when 200 years from adam and eve would only be about 5 generations
afreecountry 11 months ago
@afreecountry You can't seem to comprehend details when given. Do you only read what you want to read with the intent to argue? What I said was "Truth" is superior to facts, which you can't understand apparently. I'll give you an example. It is a fact that everybody wants respect, but it is truth that respect is both given and earned. Treat others how you want to be treated is truth, but science does not teach that, means that one must look past science to determine the full meaning of life.
songwriter4artists 11 months ago
@songwriter4artists Science offers theory and opinions that then have to be backed up by evidence to then become as close to the truth as humanly possible, it is an eventual outcome that the truth becomes fact, like Gravity, the Atom and the Oxygen we breathe. The truth is what is believed, the fact is what is. There are arguments that human nature doesn't exist, but we're all looking for that bigger 'being', human nature says its god, science says its natural, so what is truth and what is fact

An ark!

Time4u2Believe 1 year ago
Many people blatantly refuse to believe and accept the eternal existence of God. Why? Because they want to be god unto themselves; without boundaries, “my way fulfills all unrighteous desires.” Imagine a world without any Order, hmmm? No police? As flawed human government may be where do you suppose this innate knowledge or desire for order originate from? Jesus is the Creator and Ruler and Judge of the universe. Everyone will see Him, your doubts will be no more. Every knee shall bow…,
Time4u2Believe 1 year ago
@Time4u2Believe What a load of religious bullshit. I am an atheist and Ifind your "claims" about people like me disgustingly stupid and ignorant. Try to learn a little about the things you comment on. Because you are only full of shit. To be an atheist and to want to be a "god" is self-defeating claim. Believe as much as you want, but leave the rest of the world out of your mental delusional disorders. No such thing as "god". Flood never happened 'coz this is a Gilgamesh story stolen from India
moniquitus1 1 year ago
@Time4u2Believe Here is how "god" loves you: Sodoma and Gomora, Hitler and Mussolini (christians). 300 years of inquisition, 2000 years of christian violence, destruction, horrors of every possible kind perpetrated by christians. Hundreds of years of pedofilia, intrigues, sex, drugs and rock and roll. Christians and their churc started more wars in the name of their "god" than the st of the dictators and "conquistators" all put together. Thanks, but do not love me this much. It hurts.
moniquitus1 1 year ago
@moniquitus1 All of the instances you cited are comments on the depravity of mankind and the lack of God in modern society
PRIEBLE 1 year ago
@PRIEBLE I agree that these are the instances of depravity. Please note that these depravities were committed/embraced by christians. It is not the lack of "god" in modern society, but a display of pure hypocrisy throughout the history where the violent people used every means possible to plunder, conquest, rape and kill for their own benefits. Religion, as history demonstraes clearly, was one of the most powerful weapons of mass destruction. If anything, we need a liberation from any such "god"
moniquitus1 1 year ago
