two mistakes in this scene alone, 0:17 the lady falls on the top of the other body then appears beside it and then on top of it again, 0:40 jack nicholson's cigarette disapears suddenly. The fact that martin scorsese won an oscar for this movie proves that oscars are all about politics.

@Sun6Tzu Lol I know what you mean. No real Mafia would let that one slide. The Irish Mob are powerful but the Italian Mafia has way more man power. They could have easily invaded the streets of Boston and took out the Irish Mob, especially if the husband of the executed couple was a good earner or made guy of the family. But it's just a movie and like you said it was just to show how psychotic Jack's character is.

In Matt Damons interview on Inside the Actors Studio he talks about the "she fell funny" line. He said in one take Nicholson said after, "Wait, I think I wanna fuck her again." Then French looks at him like *what* Then Jack goes, "aaahhhhhhhhhhh" as to say GOTCHA. Jack's a genius actor.

After the guy nex to her got shot, Those next 4 seconds had to be a real scary feeling for her, Knowing that she's next. Gerat scene, What a shot to the head, Love the way she falls dead, one foot still in her high heel and the other one bare. They need to make more mob movie scenes like this one.
