  • @Kay18J absolutely!!! Now only if a juicy purse would magically show up at my door step =)

  • I like this card. Magic is always a winner at any age isnt it?

  • Thanks @ StamperBumper! I actually score at 2.25 inches each side. Luckily, my hubby is an engineer and figured it out for me. I am very measurement disabled!

  • Hi Crystal...I love this card but I don't know what I am doing wrong.... I followed the stamping, the acetate, the coloring and the window punching with little to no probem but I am measurement challenged (a difficult fopah for a crafter)...The Rose Red cardstock is measured at 8.5 x 5.5, I did the measurements both ways and when I score it at 2 inches at both sides and fold, the flaps do not touch each other. How did that happen?

    Help....

  • @mantecawife

I did the card too and noticed the same thing, BEFORE I scored, thank God... :)

My solution was to adjust the side score-lines to 2 1/8" and 2 1/8" so it ends up covering the back of the card just fine. :) Try that, and it should work.

  • @StamperBumper sheesh....sorry about that...I did not realize my mistake when recording. Good thing you noticed it before you scored. My apologies.

  • @mantecawife hmmm...I was measurement challenged as well when I recorded the video....lol Looking at the measurements in your comment it should probably be scored at 2 1/8" on both sides. That's probably what I did but not what I said in the video. My apologies. I hope you were able to fix it!!!

  • Beatiful card, cool idea!

  • i love this card. i have wanted to make one myself and now this video makes it very clear how to do it.... i just have one question? do you put anything on the back to cover your tabs on the brads. thanks, leslie

  • @rldesantiago thank u for ur comment =) No, I didn't put anything on the back but you could absolutely do so if you would like. Would probably look a little more finished =)

  • hello crystal.. where can i find the punch that word window punch.. i notice that they are very hard to find..

  • @ChocoDrop2 so far the only place I know you can get it is from Stampin Up!

  • woah seriously magic! i dont get how its the plastic when it's inside but when it comes out its the paper...

  • @viczai in between the plastic (acetate) and the paper (white cardstock) is another sheet of white cardstock. When you pull the tag up out of the white cardstock, the plastic and paper are no longer separated....hope this helps =)

  • @crystalalvestusim

(: lol I think I understood that part. but you know how when you pull it up it's no longer shiny? it looks like the acetate isn't on there anymore.

  • @viczai nope, its still there...probably just can't see it on the video due to lighting =)

  • I love this card! Thank you for sharing this technique! You are so talented!

    Shana

  • @mantecawife thanks darlin'....you're makin' me blush....smiles =)
