I would love to get a feel of being pushed down a lot into the seat. I don't still know what it's like to get on a super fast ride with an intense launch at 1.66g's. Just like being sucked into the seat as the plane gets ready to take off with full of speed?

Hey..Yeah, I mean, I love it to ofcourse..Its a great ride, but if you REALLY look at it....Wouldnt you want something like...longer?...Lol...Like I said, dont get me wrong, its an awsome ride...But I just wish they could have went with something more original, or atleast could have added a few more hills, or an inversion or two after the airtime hill...Lol..Also, Kingda Ka's "airtime" hill should have been at a steeper incline..maybe we could of actually got some airtime if it was..Lol..:)..
Hey MikelsEvil: Think about this. If Kingda Ka ACTUALLY had more to it, wouldn't it defeat the purpose? The ride is SUPPOSED to be short and intense. That's why Six Flags Great Adventure wanted it. They saw how well Top Thrill Dragster was doing and decided to purchase their own Strata Coaster with an extra twist at the end. It's a business scheme. And if you don't get airtime on the camelback, there must be something wrong with you. I float the entire way over.

So true. I went on a day that nobody attended, and I sat on the blue train front row. I waited about 20 minutes for people to get into the train. They refused to dispatch it.
Hey warioware2k5: Mmhmm. I went during R&S and they refused to let us go solo. I was pissed because April, one of the managers, promised me and my brother a solo ride with a rollback. Unfortunately for us, the days when KK was included in R&S, April wasn't working.
That is really dumb. Especially during R&S. They should have let ya go. And correct me if im wrong, but to me it makes no sense that the more people on board the less chance of a rollback. According to the laws of physics, the heavier something is that is pulling away from Earth's surface, the more force there is trying to pull it back down to the ground. And since there is no downward motion from the launch to the top of the tower, wtf?
Hey warioware2k5: Well, with more weight comes more momentum. So the heavier the train, the more momentum it has swinging over the top. That's why with less people, there's more air resistance, and less momentum.
Dragster's launch is shorter and less intense. You can feel on Ka while half-way down the launch track how it abruptly increases in speed. Dragster is just a straight out launch.
As for restraints, those who say Top Thrill Dragster's restraints are like 50 million times better, not really true. They actually kind of hurt my legs. But they are good.
Kingda Ka > Dragster, just because I ride KK all the time and I love it. I only rode TTD once several months ago.
Hey warioware2k5: All though I haven't riden it yet, I would have to agree. Ka's restraints don't bother me at all. Dragster's launch, however, from many people I have heard it is MUCH smoother. I'd have to ride it to see. But again, figure I'd only ride it maybe a max of 5 times. I've riden Ka 118x and it will continue to grow. So Ka>Dragster definitely for me as well.
Of course everyone is going to say Dragster has a smoother launch. The truth, however, is that Top Thrill Dragster is rougher. Think about it- Dragster was made back in 03', while Ka was made in 05'. That is two years of 5 ton trains gliding along the tracks, roughing it up. But TTD has lap bars, while KK has shoulder harnesses. No matter how rough TTD is, it will always seem smoother than KK because of the restraint system.
Hey warioware2k5: Again, I have no problem with the OTSR's. I mean if I'm in the back (which is a rare occasion) and we're coming down the spiral, my head hits the bar, but it's not that bad. I don't complain. It's a good ride.
