wonderful. an insight into a great culture. a pity the tribes of USA and mexico didnt have imigration control back in the 17 hundreds. they didn't need drug or oil companies, mass slaughter houses, corrupt politicians or Bankers. etc.nor the diseases of the west or corrupted christiananity., i salute the tribal nations of the USA and Mexico. Aum Shanti GOD BLESS.may there be peace in all your lodges and hearts.
this song I chanted alot for my eldest daughter when she couldn't sleep I was only halfway the song and she slept like a rose even now she is almost 13 she needs to hear the song before she go's to bed
i enjoyed this so much. I am learning so much about my heritage. the song is awesome. i listens to it over and over. It relaxes me so much. thank you for sharing this. the videos really touched my heart as well.
I bought the native American dream tribute to the tribal spirit album 11 years ago it's scratched alot now but can still listen to few songs this being one of them it's so beautiful I can never get enough of native music it's just so unique and amazingly earth connecting, soul reviving brilliance!!! you know what? THIS IS A MAGNIFICENT SONG I LOVE IT !!! to the maker of this video I have to say WELL DONE!!!! spectacular absolutely wonderful !!!! and will you please make the full 32 min one and send it to me please i'll send a request :)
I have been listening to this song since 1983 I believe. I have loved it since it first touched my ears.
We have much to learn from our past. We cannot go back wards nor would I want to. The indians were not a perfect people, There are things I would like to learn and carry on from them: there great respect for the earth and the rhythms of life on earth.
thank you! i have been looking for this song for 15 years. my mother had the tape in 1987. she lost it and neither of us could remember the song name. this song is my childhood. thank you again :-)
I have searched for this song for years !!!!!!! thanks you so much for posting it,.... back in 1992 a friend gave me A home made mixed songs, cassette tape.... and this song was was my favorite but I didn't know what it was called.......... thank you soooo much ! :)
wonderful, calming, piercing deep inside my soul...there are no words to descripe how I feel while listening to this great song. Thank you for uploading.
Thank you for posting this video! I have been searching for this song for years! I came across someone's post tonight, describing it. Never thought to look for it on YouTube.
Thanks so much. I love this. Spirit of Manitou. All Human Beings. Aho!
Love this song, been after it for 7 years but couldn't remember who it was by or what it was called, it's very spiritual and touches my heart in a big way, we all need to open our eyes.
I know so little about native american culture but would like to know more. Is there a really accurate source of reference I could read up on. Was there a heirachy of tribes...Just curious!
I've been reading Daniel Boone's accounts. He was one that was taken in by a local tribe, lots of men, women, and children were accepted during that time.
During times of conflict beteween Natives and white European Americans, many tribes gave the invaders a choice: join us or we will kill you. The Europeans never gave any such choice, they mostly slaughtered and consumed everything in their path. Many whites chose to join the native americans because their society was alot more fair than the puritanical culture they came from.
@CanadiaNecro1 This statement is true. I have read a great deal and I find this in many sources. Western Euro Manifest Destiny Culture felt it was superior to every other culture it encountered and felt it had a God given right to the land to use and abuse and push aside any other culture it encountered. Not all whites were like this, many suffered because they sided with the indigenous peoples as they were being conquered and exterminated or enslaved. I wonder when it will end?
wontonga, not being rude... but they havnt because why? i am a slim 1/5 quapaw chikasaw, but why should they. there isnt a point in it. Most of the people lost are forgotten. not as a person, but as a people. most tribes are gone, their culture, race... ppl cry and whine about all these genocides, mass murders of africa... try remembering the hundreds of cultures whiped out by our own....
It is a juggling art. Usually the performances are with light or chains with torches in the tips. Write poi here in the search place and you will got a lot of videos.
OMG Same here!!! My mum used to play this to me when I was a kid and I havent heeard it in so many years, and like staytuss I've never found it in the shops despite my efforts to track this song down... Thankyou so much for posting it.
Wow.. I used to have this on a tape years ago but lost it and aint been able to find it in any shops or on here.. and now its here.. yaayyy!!! Awesome!!! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!!
Wow, this is such a spiritually comforting song. Our modern culture has so much to learn from the Native American way of life, and not to mention respect for Mother Earth. Thank you for sharing this, I can see you have a good spirit!
Thank you. The full length of the song is about 32 minutes, and I shortened it the best I could and still capture the essence of the lyrics that we should respect all human beings.

We have lost that and it is so very sad.
I would not carry on the fighting among tribes.
But still much to remember.

Why argue about who gave who a choice? Isn't that a moot point now? Let's focus on the present, and fix what is wrong!

It's in our nature.
We have commandments and are very spiritual, we love our beliefs and follow them to a fault more often than not.
