Blizzard banned me after i got hacked and my account was changed into a gold farming Shouter. I wrote a ticket to blizzard support stating that i got hacked, but they refuse to unban me...
This just really pisses me off, i supported blizzard by paying over 130 euros, and then my account gets banned and i lose everything. Now i don't mind if they just deleted my characters or something, but they took all my expansion packs and original game, so now i have nothing.
Compared to other games I've played that isn't Associated with Blizzard, I think that Blizzard does more then other people do. Blizzard is able to do more to help accounts, and keep track of accounts then other people. Sure blizzard ruins the game with all the nerfing and takeing some stuff out, but at least if you give enough detail to your problem, the problem gets solved. Other game masters on other games dont' do crap.
i dont agree with botting i think that IS cheating, but RWT (real world trading) should be allowed. As for trading accounts i see no problem in it. For example joe played for 3 years dosnt want to play again cancels subscription sells account to tim who then pays subscription. Blizard keep a subcription that they would otherwise have lost. The scamming that occurs during these trades is bad but if they put in mechanics for this then scams would stop.

This is a new one for Blizzard, traditionally mounts like these have been Bind on Pickup. What does this mean ? Its means the item can resold, in game, on E-Bay or through a gold seller's site. So take 5 stock items (level 85s), place and bot them at the 5 spawn sites of this rare, and let the gold roll in. This item is currently selling for US $340
Also buying gold ruins the in game economy by driving prices ridiculously high because ppl who buy gold can get so much so fast. Those of us must choose to be left behind or become dishonest too and by gold

My argument is anything you play 40 hours a week should be considered work. Blizzard and other companies who are trying to choke people out of the financial loop should be shunned. I hope that a wave of companies arise, which permit currency, account and ingame service selling. I do think there are enough players wanting such a game, that it would shake the industry a bit.

I got an email from them about an account closure when I hadn't had my account paid up for 6 months or more. Turns out gold sellers had PAID for my account to be reactivated and then used it to advertise in local, trade etc. They restored my account to me after I explained. It would mean more work on their part and players making an income off of WoW but I really wish they would legalize currency trading.
Even when this vid was made the ToS was very clear. You don't own your account, Blizzard does. You are paying for access to the server and access to the account that they own. You cannot legally sell or give away something you don't own. People need to learn how to read before clicking "I Agree". The accounts were never threats, they just aren't yours to sell or trade.

If you have multiple accounts they arent steadily changing. your have a pattern account exchanges or account purchasers how ever have probally thousands of copies out in the world wide web from where the accounts have went from owner to new owner so many different times. I support blizz's decision here. Gold/acct sellers RUIN wow. I put alot of work into farming gold and improving my acct, the fact that some dishonest person can just buy gold and high lvl items takes all the fun out. The day we get the gold sellers out will be the day wow is cool again.

You can actually buy gold that's been farmed for others players and accounts that other players is selling that is theirs. Ive bought an account and gold before.. many times on the gold end. @markeedragon, you are conveniently and voluntarily ignorant of what truly goes on. People's accounts get hacked, then sold on these websites, and no doubt, yours, or whenever it was open. Buying, selling, and trading gold, accounts, and items is a problem because nobody truly knows where it is coming from. Blizzard cannot be absolutely sure that you are not being scammed, or if you are the scam artist yourself.

My argument is anything you play 40 hours a week should be considered work. Blizzard and other companies who are trying to choke people out of the financial loop should be shunned. I hope that a wave of companies arise, which permit currency, account and ingame service selling. I do think there are enough players wanting such a game, that it would shake the industry a bit.

I got an email from them about an account closure when I hadn't had my account paid up for 6 months or more. Turns out gold sellers had PAID for my account to be reactivated and then used it to advertise in local, trade etc. They restored my account to me after I explained. It would mean more work on their part and players making an income off of WoW but I really wish they would legalize currency trading.

Even when this vid was made the ToS was very clear. You don't own your account, Blizzard does. You are paying for access to the server and access to the account that they own. You cannot legally sell or give away something you don't own. People need to learn how to read before clicking "I Agree". The accounts were never threats, they just aren't yours to sell or trade.

If you have multiple accounts they arent steadily changing. your have a pattern account exchanges or account purchasers how ever have probally thousands of copies out in the world wide web from where the accounts have went from owner to new owner so many different times. Being as most people dont know to clean that folder out before starting to play a purchased account and neither did the previouse owners they get banned if you lok at the files you will see what I'm saying.
