I'm a big advocate of animals rights and I am a supporter of hunting, because unlike most meat that ends up in the stores, these animals are killed quickly, and have spent their entire lives living as they should be, not crammed in pens or cages. As long as you don't enjoy making the animal suffer and give it its proper respect, I don't see anything wrong with being excited about getting your first deer, its a right of passage, like getting your license or something.

when i was younger, i used to go hunting with my grandfather and his friends. i liked it a lot but they would never let me have or operate with anything lethal (after all, it is europe). what i don't understand is - how is this "when you're a hunter...", like the video says. more like, sitting and waiting for hours to surprise an animal :) hunting is when you go with 5-6 kids for pig hunting. sometimes you loose a kid, sometimes you don't. that's why you have 6 of them :)
