In the east of Russia, the people are Orientals(ethnic Chinese), in the south of Russia are the Muslims which are darker than the people in the North. So why talk about races here. this dance is actually a mix of various styles of ukrainian folk dance. the guys are doing tricks and steps custom of the poltava region whereas the girls are doing more volyn/lemko steps. there are various steps and dances that are customary of each region. search 'syzokryli' and you can watch a few videos of my dance group.

Yes, it's true, this song came from Ukraine, but here in this show it is been sink not exactly in ukrainian, but in dialect which is used in villages on the East of Poland and also Beylorussia and Ukraine, i think. Singer has strong influence of ukrainian accent
