Jesus did not call us to a life of celebrity. Praise God NOT Mark Driscoll. You say, I DO. Yet, some of you also seem to put a man almost on the same pedestal as Jesus Himself.
And then he uploaded the video as if he met a celebrity like Dave Grohl. Hence proves my point.
Mark Driscoll is supposed to be a lowly teacher, not a celebrity.
Whether they think of him as a role model or not, Driscoll should have made it clear that he's NOT a celebrity. Because he didn't, I believe it shows he is full of himself. Which I already know he is.
I will say I just caught onto Pastor Mark this week, and already I love the man. A great teacher/ preacher. I like the under-his-breath thing he does. I've already learned a lot from him in a short time.
No I get it, I am a member at the church he preaches from and each time I catch him its a thrill. In person he's just as funny, serious, and caring. He's the real deal.
Sweet man. I had an opportunity to meet Driscoll as I was coming off of the plane he was right in front of me. I kick myself now that I remember because I really would've liked to have introduced myself. But oh well.
Mark Driscoll is brilliant and a good example to young men, and consequently helpful to women

Love his style of teaching and methods of simplicity. He leaves no room for misinterpretation.
