@musicarchitect Unfortunately, he is no longer on exhibit. I think he is still housed behind the scenes in the Reptile and Amphibian House, but he may be going to another zoo.
@dave8594 do bear in mind they cost a bomb, plus liscence, plus food, plus viv/tank pllus decor . they require alot of work on a dailey basis. If you do please insure you do all the necesary research, buy books ect. Im sure you would, i was just checking ^^ there so beautiful though aren't they, i love there 'imgoingtoeatyou' smile, its gorgeouse

Is that palpebrosus or trigonatus?
tkkamele 1 year ago
@tkkamele I believe he is palpebrosus. I will try to ask a keeper the next time I am at the Zoo. (Thanks for a very good question, by the way.)

Cool animal.
Interesting...he seems to have more space than the larger reptiles, such as the American alligator Blackie.

I love them! I hope to get a Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman when I'm older and in my OWN house, they only get 5 feet. But I can't wait!!!
BTW, Thanks for posting, awesome timing!!

This particular one seems docile, but I hear that he can be fierce.
I am glad you liked the video. I have several other videos of him posted, too.
