@REWej8 awd has its adv in traction but at the cost of wheel hp b\c the power is going to 2 wheel it goes to 4 so less power to the ground starts to lose out to rwd after the launch or hard turn plus you still have to think of the fact the rwd the front tires deal with turning traction back with throttle awd the fronts are more likely to come loose in corners than rwd but not as bad as fwd. Also a dif tranny is needed and a second diff soak up more of your pwr b4 it goes to the road

nice car, but how much power do you loose with the 4wd set up, standard car looses 15-20% from power moving from the engine to the wheels, just curious always been a fan of the honda's then i graduated got a rwd car (S13) i had a h22 powered cb7 accord and dreamed of the damage that car could do as a rwd platform, switched to nissan's from my experience you can build a faster car for cheaper, but i have love for all of my japanese cars just wondering the level of cost effectiveness thx

th3m8ngtree, in the usa b series are popular engines, here in canada we build beasts of d series, the wagovan awd drivetrain is the best and its a d series, their cheaper to build, easier to get parts for and their a hell of alot more reliable

if the car is d series and awd its wagovan powered in terms of the drivetrain, if its b series its from a old crv, and if its k series its from a new crv

I hear the wagovan 4wd has a thick driveshaft but its only part time because of the viscous coupling in the center of the car, so make a 1 piece driveshaft, put a lsd in the rear and take out the front axles and you have a permanent honda rear wheel drive
