  • Beautiful interpretation. Bravissimo!

  • Выдающийся мастер! Браво!

  • Anyone know where I can get the sheet music for this? Please message me if you do!

  • PURE MUSCULINE DIGNITY -NO TENOROUS WEEPING .

  • I usually prefer a tenor voice for this great song from Naples, however, this was quite beautiful. He also understands the Napulitana dialect very well. I must say

    Bravo Maestro!!

  • BRAVO MAESTRO!!!!

  • Te cerco come l´aria....qué bonito Dios, se nota que estoy enamorado!

  • Nice ...but Gobbi , Gobbbi ....

  • BRAVO, MAGNÍFICA INTERPRETACIÓN.

  • bravo bravissimo....è troppo bella!

  • Dima did it almost the same level as the biggest did: Mario Lanza. Dima as a Russian, understans really how to sing from the heart and soul...

  • дай мне такое дело, что бы сердце пело...

  • He sings it in Bflat minor, as opposed to Gobbi who sings it in B minor. He doesn't have the lightness of touch, to make the variations in the phrasing, so it's all just one colour---and a bit stuffed up the nose as well.

  • Most songs used to be published in many different keys. (Low, Med-low, Medium, Medium-high, and High) If one prefers a tenor, a soprano, a baritone, etc. is subjective. In opera each part is usually written for a specific voice. I take issue with critics who decide that only a certain size, or sound of voice is appropriate to sing Verdi, Puccini, Handel, Rossini, etc.,roles. If a singer can manage the range, give him/her a chance. Should only the greatest singers should be allowed to sing?

  • we give Dima not a chance but our thanks for singing to us Diciticello vuille ,but is not easy to changed our long term memory brain that already has in it Dicitencello sung by tenors at a much higher key and in a more aesthetic lyric -dramatic way.

  • to understand the diffence of singing and shouting see Tito Gobbi singing Decitencello Vuie the next door

  • "Очей прекрасных огонь я обожаю...."

    Люблю эту песню....

    Спасибо Дмитрий!

  • I believe this song is sung in russian too,pls insert those lyrics if you can !spaciba balshoye.

  • Natasha privet and thank you very much.

  • Привет! :) Не за что :)

    You are most welcome!

  • I don't agree entirely, but I understand what you are talking about. Hvorostovski sings beautifully, but he makes it sound like a Russian song. He, sadly, does not have that lamentful Neopolitan aspect to his voice.

  • It is not really shouting, but almost a different song. Such performance could probably be better appreciated from the stage of a Russian restaurant after the public gets drunk. Has its charm, but can not be compared with the subtle beauty of Gobbi's singing.

  • To be sung by a tenor? What do you know about this song? Are napulitan or italian? It's a beautiful song however, sung by a tenor, sung by a bariton or by a bass!

  • it's napulitan! a dialect of the south of Italy! I'm napulitan and I agree with you about the beauty of the song! you can also find other version of this song, more modern version, good as well.

if you like you can hear a version sung by me. you can find it on youtube under the voice "Dicintencelle vuje-Marco Stellato"! I'd like to know your opinion about it.

    greeatings from Naples,Italy

  • I was surprised when I saw that he was singing this song, because I thought it was only for tenors too, but I think he did an Excellent job. This song is beautiful!

  • Beautiful romanza sung exceptionally well by Mr. Hvorostovsky. He has a thrilling voice.

  • Who cares if it was intended for a tenor if it's sung so beautifully by a baritone ?

  • This song is so beautiful, and it is certainly done justice by Mr Hvorostovsky. In fact, I don't know of any singer who performs this song as well as Mr Hvorostovsky. Absolutely wonderful, thank you for sharing this with us!
