  • i couldve saved those two lol. real crap shots and deaks

  • I'm from Edmonton, and I had the privilege of seeing Gretzky in his prime. The word which keeps occurring to me is "Wizardry"; his moves were like magic. Defencemen had no chance against him; he was unpredictable and undefeatable. On a team of champions, he still stood out. The man is the greatest player of his sport. Period.

  • No one will beat 50 in 39

  • I wish I could of watched him on TV or watch him play at the arenas but he was before my time and I can't do nothing about it. Atleast I can see him Coach =D. Also I only got to see the last few years of Patrick Roy's playing as well because I wasn't very interested in hockey and watching it on the TV alot unless my grandpa was around.

  • damn he was amazing. So glad he is Canadian. He will always remain one of the greatest hockey players of all time. Too bad his greatest years were before my time! Only got to see the last few years of him!

  • That's the greatest scorer since Richard & Bossy!

  • Orr is better

  • that was pretty sick

  • no..Lemieux woulda beat gretz record if he had remained healthy. Lemieux had Dan Quinn and Randy Cunneyworth for his first 6 years, Gretz had Messier, Kurri, Anderson and Coffey.

  • Ummmm sorry mate, IF he had stayed healthy. Thats like saying IF someone else had scored 50 in 38 games then they would beat him. Ifs don't count.

  • Best player ever...

Gretzky - Kurri duo was amazing.
