@popperjguapo no, just 2. Virtual DJ has 4 skins and 6 skins but I find it kind of confusing. I don't use auto beat lock. I do it all manual because the songs I mix aren't in perfect time. I can't really leave one set of decks alone for too long on the controller and trying to go back and forth is too much. If they had a controller with 4 wheels I'm there.

@werinks23 to get a lot of those functions you need to upgrade to the vdj pro. Once you have the pro version all of the updates are free. The manual you get for the RMX helps you program.

This video made a scratch DJ in myself a believer that I could scratch with these tiny ass jog wheels! Took me a minute to adjust the settings to my liking and some serious practice because of the size of the jog wheel, but I got it!

@joseph12566 Thanks man. I've only tried attaching turntables to the RMX once a long time ago. I found it was glitchy. It was probably a bug and they've probably fixed it by now. For your question, its about the software Virtual DJ that comes with it. I love the software and yes you can definitely use loops and FX still. You can map it on your RMX or even on your laptops keyboard. Similar to Serato or traktor. RMX is just a controller.

That was amazing!!! Hey I got a question: I got the Hercules RMX too and I had VDJ Pro (the cracked illegal version) and now it forces me to use old VDJ 5 and when I try to open VDJ Pro it says "Error in the ASIO driver". Anyone know what to do?
I had the same problem, you need to download the latest drivers from the hercules website, also check on your taskbar for the hercules sound set up cos it can be set to wdm or asio, so you may need to switch it over.

Nice video. I own one been praticing. When your plaing your gigs do you run it through a mixer? The soundcard to me just don't sound 100% on really big bass heavy systems. Oh yea and BTW your thoughts on the DJ CONSOLE 4-Mx. I think the platters are too close together.

First off i wanna say HOT DAMN! your really good with the rmx i'm hoping to get to that level of proness and also i had a question for you. i just recently bought the rmx and i plug it into my desktop with the usb connection, but when i i'm mixing i can hear the sound from my speakers, but i can't hear the sound from my headphones! and i mess with the AISO settings but then i can hear from the headphones and not the speakers. any advice? BTW it's not fake at i know i have one =D it's just hard!
Nice try, but considering I can see you hitting the stop button continuously on both decks while the music continues is a clear sign that this is FAKE! Weather the audio / video is off or not, the stop buttons do the same thing.... stop the tracks. Why not shoot a new video including the screen and controller and put this to rest.
@chuckno9 have you looked at the other vids I've posted? I've already gone through this before. The other vids should answer what ever issues you have. I've just come off of a tour and I'm tired. Also, I've re mapped my buttons to do different things so the stop button as you know it is not that same function on my system. very impressive for the size of the jog wheels on the rmx. well done bro. That has always been a concern with the smaller controllers is the wheels. I got the Numark Mixtrack and the size is comparable to CDJ's yet still portable. Loving the digital DJ scene right now.
@leonv62 I've never use the m audio. I think they pretty much do all the same thing. The m audio works with Serato software though. Really depends on what you want to do with it. Virtual DJ also allows you to mix videos as well.

@leonv62 yeah definitely a good system. I use it on tour now. Its a nice easy system to use and carry around. I don't do all that scratching and stuff on tour. Its mostly cutting and mixing. Its a great way to start and its cheaper than most of the other stuff out there.
Okay I see the reason I ask its cause< theres a program call adobe firework, that lets you costamize your own skin, and I use one called virutal dj scratch, design to make your scratches sound real good and it resembles serato skin, and we all know djs like us that beat juggle and all, the skin is designed to compliment ur skills

when i use a keyboard or some other midi controller, 2ms is not noticeable. maybe im wrong with this console though.

Nice video. I own one been praticing. When your plaing your gigs do you run it through a mixer? The soundcard to me just don't sound 100% on really big bass heavy systems. Oh yea and BTW your thoughts on the DJ CONSOLE 4-Mx. I think the platters are too close together.

First off i wanna say HOT DAMN! your really good with the rmx i'm hoping to get to that level of proness and also i had a question for you. i just recently bought the rmx and i plug it into my desktop with the usb connection, but when i i'm mixing i can hear the sound from my speakers, but i can't hear the sound from my headphones! and i mess with the AISO settings but then i can hear from the headphones and not the speakers. any advice? BTW it's not fake at i know i have one =D it's just hard!

Nice try, but considering I can see you hitting the stop button continuously on both decks while the music continues is a clear sign that this is FAKE! Weather the audio / video is off or not, the stop buttons do the same thing.... stop the tracks. Why not shoot a new video including the screen and controller and put this to rest.

@chuckno9 have you looked at the other vids I've posted? I've already gone through this before. The other vids should answer what ever issues you have. I've just come off of a tour and I'm tired. Also, I've re mapped my buttons to do different things so the stop button as you know it is not that same function on my system. Why can't any of you figure out that the reason you can't do this with your rmx is because this is straight counterfeit? Watch his hands and listen, its completely fake. Have any of you ever even actually watched a real DJ that can mix this way? Cuz if this was real his hands would line up to the music. OPEN YOUR EYES!!! very impressive for the size of the jog wheels on the rmx. well done bro. That has always been a concern with the smaller controllers is the wheels. I got the Numark Mixtrack and the size is comparable to CDJ's yet still portable. Loving the digital DJ scene right now.

@leonv62 I've never use the m audio. I think they pretty much do all the same thing. The m audio works with Serato software though. Really depends on what you want to do with it. Virtual DJ also allows you to mix videos as well.

@leonv62 yeah definitely a good system. I use it on tour now. Its a nice easy system to use and carry around. I don't do all that scratching and stuff on tour. Its mostly cutting and mixing. Its a great way to start and its cheaper than most of the other stuff out there.

Okay I see the reason I ask its cause< theres a program call adobe firework, that lets you costamize your own skin, and I use one called virutal dj scratch, design to make your scratches sound real good and it resembles serato skin, and we all know djs like us that beat juggle and all, the skin is designed to compliment ur skills

personally i think vinyl DJ's that are hating on digital DJ's and whatnot are upset that they can't move the crowd like digital DJ's can. yea, i understand the legacy and roots behind vinyl but the industry is going the other way with digital. vinyl will never die, but digital is where the money is out and people have to realize that.
